First period after D&C

Hi, thanks for reading. I had a miscarriage last month at 10.5 weeks which resulted in a D&C. After 4 weeks I had strong period like pains with no blood and then at 5 weeks I started my period. It had been more painful than usual but not clots. It's lasted 10 days so far. Is this anything like anyone else has experienced? I just hope it ends soon. It's been a horrible time and this bleeding feels like a constant reminder. Thanks x

You poor thing. I remember my first period was a stark reminder of what had happened. Mine came 29 days exactly after my d&c and it was a normal period nothing different about it. If you have any concerns definitely go to your gp. If it's any consolation exactly one year after the D&C I was in hospital having my dd.

@Anna52 sorry to hear this. I waited 6 weeks for my period after my erpc and it lasted for 14 whole days. I totally understand how you feel, it’s just a constant reminder.
