Conception after abortion

I’m sorry if this is a sensitive subject. If this is the wrong place for this thread I will ask for it to be moved.

I’m hoping to hear experiences of conceiving after an abortion? Background is I have DS who is 21mo. I found out when he was 9mo that I was pregnant again and for many reasons decided to end the pregnancy. Fast forward a year and my partner and I are considering trying again or a sibling for DS but I’m feeling scared.

I don’t know how I will handle the pregnancy emotionally or even how easy we will find it to conceive.

Any advice is very welcome x

I have a 5 year old, last year I found out I was pregnant but as I wasn't in a stable relationship I made the choice to terminate. ( I regretted this immensely)
Ever since that day I ttc which took 4 months, sadly my baby passed away at 20 weeks pregnant. And now I'm desperately wanting to try again but my cycle hasn't even returned yet.

The only advise I would give you is everything happens for a reason, you can't worry about things that haven't happened yet and make sure your 100% sure in your decision in what you do.

I found out I was pregnant when Ds was less than three months old and I had a termination- I was breast feeding and on the mini pill. Decided to try for a sibling four years later, and we conceived on our first round of sex with no contraception. I had no problems at all. Good luck.
