Ovulation strips vs clearblue digital smileys

I have tracked my cycles with strips and clearblue the past couple months to keep an eye on my ovulation cycles etc. This month is officially the first month TTC and yesterday morning I got a flashing smiley and this morning too. The weird thing is this month nothing is coming up on my cheap strips which they did clearly in the previous couple months, showing good progression and matching up to the clearblue results. Anyone had a similar experience.

The flashing smiley ones are dual hormone which means they also look for a rise in estrogen which usually comes before the LH rise. The flashing smiley is the estrogen rise - cheap test strips don't detect estrogen only LH - you could have up to 10 days of flashing smiley before getting your LH peak solid smiley

I've just started using the CB digital ones this month and have had two days of flashing smileys and I'm day 14 of my cycle, feeling crampy and bloated, so hopefully accurate, although I still need to see that static one, obviously. If I get several days of flashies and no static, with all the symptoms, I'll be confused though.

I personally don't think I'd get on with the other ones, as I like a more obvious, clear result.
