Due April 2020

Hey.

I can't see any threads for babies due in April 2020, so thought I'd start one for all the other ladies in the same boat as me.

This is my second pregnancy after a MMC in May. Got my BFP Thursday, still fairly faint as of this morning but will continue to test to make sure my HCG levels are rising.
Found these forums to be a great support for me last time. Wishing everyone a healthy and happy pregnancy. X

Lol well u have seen my 2 faint tests on my thread that I shoved up...... Have stupidly tested with an IC and it's still showing negative 🙄

I'm due April 2020. My first baby. I'm 5 weeks. Test was positive a week ago. It's so surreal! And I am SO tired 😂

Hello! I just got my bfp on friday, first pregnancy! I'll be 5 weeks on Tuesday.

Agreed @Beewhispers it's so surreal I done another pregnancy test this morning just because I'm not really believing it at the moment. I'm also so tired I didn't think it would happen this quickly, I also survived my first saturday night "drinks" with friends in the house (was preplanned) ...managed to drink alcohol free wine transferred into a normal wine bottle and think I got away with it!

@secretllama congrats! Oh my goodness trying to keep it secret is super hard isn't it! Friends over the weekend kept asking if I was ok. Was v quiet due to exhaustion and I look like a corpse 😂

I got my first ever BFP this morning, greatful to find others in the same situation. Genuinely don't believe it's real!

Is anyone else suffering from symptoms already? it feels so early but I feel sick all the time, have terrible acid reflux and the tiredness is unreal! i have my GP appointment tomorrow... has anyone been to theirs yet or told a midwife? I feel so clueless as to this process.

I got my BFP on Friday for baby #1! still cant really believe it so have been taking tests every couple of days! I cant work out if im 4/5 weeks as I dont know if it goes on last AF or ov day?! I have a docs appt tomorrow so they can refer me to hosp (I assume) I wonder do they do a test when your there? do I need to hold my FMU lol also @beewhispers I worry because I dont really have any symptoms! so who knows!!

Hi can I join I got my BFP on Monday just gone. Was 4 weeks yesterday. Apart from being really tired and really sore boobs no other symptoms yet, oh and I've gone off coffee can't stand the taste or smell.

I'm phoning the GP tomorrow to find out what my next steps are ❤️ x

I have the most embarrassing symptom....really really bad smelling gas...poor husband 😂😂 please tell me I'm not alone in this!

12 week scan booked for the 9th Oct , its seems so far away

@secretllama I'm really constipated so hardly going to the toilet 🤣🤣

Did you have to go to the doctors? Or did they put you in contact with the midwife team? X

@FearnRJ nope didn't go to the docs! I phoned up a number where they set up the referral for you, and get your initial booking appointing with midwife and scan booked in. This is with NHS Scotland (lothian) so not sure how it is everywhere else, I only know this as I have a big sis who's been through it all before 😂 xx

I got my BFP a week ago and it's still very surreal! Terrified but so excited at the same time. Congratulations to all! @FearnRJ I was told by the GP receptionist to self refer to our local hospital antenatal unit and they were so efficient with my midwife and scan appt landing on my doorstep two days later!

Not sure whether OP you maybe want to move this thread onto the pregnancy board if you can? Having been on these conception boards for a bit I think it might be hard for those struggling with TTC to keep seeing this thread of BFPs pop up perhaps.

What is everyone's estimated due date? Mine is 29th of April 2020. I would have rung sooner but just wanted a few days to ourselves to let it sink in going to phone them in the morning. I know all surgeries are different but a lot seem to have changed and you self refer yourself so I'll find out x

@Greenwhale Im here too! cant believe you got your appts so quick! when are they then?
@FearnRJ I phoned the doctors on monday and am there tomorrow morning to get referred! that's the way they do it here I guess!

I called into the doctors on my way home from work I had to fill a form out and the midwife will phone me to book me in don't get seen until I'm 8 weeks x

I went into the GPs this morning and i just saw the most patronising male doctor i have ever met. Just kept laughing at me; treated me like an absolute idiot, slagged off the Natural Cycles app (i asked him if he knew anything about it and he said no) and told me to go fill in a form. It was really anticlimactic. So now I am going to go onto the NHS website and fill in some details that the kind receptionist gave me.

@Nova324 my midwife appt is at 8.5 weeks and scan at 12.5 weeks however I'm sure I'm further along than my last period would suggest as I ovulated early but we'll see! Hopefully the 6 will private scan can give me a little indication but I imagine I'm going to have an EDD between the 24th-28th Apr

@Beewhispers sorry you had such a bad experience. We are so vulnerable at this time it's so out of order to be treated like that.
