Cycle after MC

Hi all,
I’m new here and have a general wondering really.
In June my DH and I experienced a MC, it was a surprise pregnancy and I was very early when it happened.
After five weeks AF returned but I’m just wondering if everything that happened will have thrown my cycle off by a week?
We want to carry on trying but I don’t know if I will have to re-calculate everything.
TIA x

I'm sorry you had a MC Thankshope you're ok

My period took 7 weeks to return and when it did it wasn't quite regular for 2 months, cycle length varied more than usual. I was always 27-28 days but post MC I went to 30 days one month and 26 the next.

There are good apps for tracking and logging all your info.
Good luck

Thank you

The first period I had after was normal except for being a week off and it lasted a few days longer than normal due to spotting.
I usually start on a Sun and am due today but I’ve had none of the signs that it’s about to happen. Also as a diabetic, my sugar levels the week before are usually crazy, mainly going higher than normal but again, nothing but decent levels for the last week or so

It could be a little off then. I remember getting more cramps post MC and a heavier flow. I do feel it can change your cycle and symptoms. Have read feedback from others who said the same.
If you're keen to keep trying I'd highly recommend the ovulation kits. The clear blue ones are good but are expensive. There's other cheaper versions online though.
And there's lots of advice online for tmi tips like being familiar with cervical mucus or tracking your basal body temperature to help nail that all important fertile window.

Can't be easy with you having the diabetes symptoms thrown in too. I have gestational diabetes and finding it tough testing and controlling blood sugars but hoping it goes after this pregnancy like it did with DC1.

Wishing you the very best of luck!! I know how it is in these few weeks/months after, it's not easy x
