Coming off microgynon

Hey, I'm currently on AF and I'm not taking the microgynon pill anymore as me and my partner will be TTC!! I know we're all different but has anyone conceived fairly quickly after coming off the pill? Any advice welcome :) xx

Yep! Pregnant with DS1 within 2 months of coming off Microgynon. I was 35 so expected it to take a bit longer!

I’ve hadn’t 2 real periods since coming off microgynon. First cycle was 30 days and second cycle was 35 days. I’m now in my TWW to see if I get my BFP!

I came off, had a withdrawal bleed of 5 days and was pregnant within 2 weeks Shock I'd been on it for 12 years as well and really thought we'd struggle. DS will be 1 on 19th! Good luck!

Pretty much straight away I think - that’s why it’s important to take it properly.

Was over a year after coming off the pill before I conceived my first. It really messed up my cycles but it is different for everyone.

I was on it for 9 years, came off it and was pregnant within 4 months. I was 26 at the time.

It took 8 months for me to even have a period after coming off it to TTC, it was awful. Microgynon really messed me up for some reason. Friends were pregnant really quickly after coming off it. Good luck, it's an exciting time Flowers

The month after I stopped taking it I fell pregnant after 20 years on the pill, microgynon for the last 8.

With my first child who is now 2 and a half I conceived in the first month! I'm currently TTC number 2, came off 1st July, had AF 4 weeks later and just about to start trying properly. Hoping to catch this month!

I was on the pill for 12 years, came off it. It took seven months to get pg, but only because my periods were different (32days) and I got an ovulation stick. Worked then.

Everyone is different. I was extremely lucky. One normal withdrawal bleed, followed by another one 4 weeks later, following due I took a test which was positive. Pregnant within 6 weeks x

OMG thanks everyone for your responses!! Really interesting reading them all and everyone who's waiting for their BFP I'll be with you next month!! I'm really not sure how I'll cope in the TWW I think I'll drive myself mad and spend lots of money on early detection pregnancy tests!! Thanks for everyone's reply really really appreciated SmileThanks xxx
