2% Sperm Morphology

My husband and i have been trying for our second baby for the past 15 months. We have recently both had fertility tests. All mine came back fine, but my husband has 2% sperm morphology. Count and mobility are fine.
Has anyone conceived naturally with such a low %? Or should we give up and go down the ivf route?

When you say that the other parameters are fine, do you mean they’ll a bit above the cut off or actually good?

It is possible to conceive with morphology that low but it can take a looong time/good luck- not something that should be expected. I think it might be worth DH staying healthy (no smoking or alcohol + a healthy diet) + taking a specialist supplement like Profertil. However, if you don’t want to wait much longer, I’d get the IVF ball rolling (the healthy diet + supplements will improve your chances anyway).

Count and mobility came back well above average, just morphology thats down.
We conceived DD on the first cycle, so struggling to get my head round this low morphology. I stupidly presumed that everything would be fine when trying to have baby #2

Nothings changed for my husband, he eats relatively healthy, he's active, doesn't smoke, has cut back drinking and has been taking vitamins for the past few months too, not sure what else we can do?

If anyone has any other tips, please let me know!

All else being good it might happen but I wouldn't get your hopes up. DH has terrible morphology but average count and amazing motility and we only had 1 natural conception in 5 years ending in MC. I remember chatting to a guy on another forum, again terrible morphology but his count was 500k or more and they only got a first positive pregnancy test after 2 or 3 years.

I think my Dh morphology was under 2% and we conceived DS after 10 months. Currently on month 8 of ttc baby number 2
