Positive then negative, dropped bbt, confused

I'm two days late and had an appointment today for a colposcopy due to a positive HPV diagnosis after my smear.

So I did a test yesterday at midday not fmu and got a positive, faint but definitely a line. However my bbt is dropping. So the nurse today did a pregnancy test before she decided whether to do the colposcopy for safety. It came back negative. I don't know what kind of test she used as she left the room to do it.

I've had four miscarriages in the last five years. This is yesterday's positive and my chart. What do you think? Is this another miscarriage?

Disclaimer I know you guys aren't doctors and nurses just want someone to discuss it with who understands! Sad

How long was the test left for? The line looks too thin - like an evap.

I'm sorry. It's shit ttc.

Bang on 3 minutes like the test said. It got darker after that. I've been here before obviously but this ones really got me reeling Sad

@BoomerangLurker - I’m really sorry that happened to you.
It’s hard to tell from the photo, but your temps seem to kind of hover around the cover line; have the RMC put you on any meds?

Ginmonkey84 · 09/08/2019 08:34

It looks like mine I had around 10dpo so I’d be testing again today! And remember the tests GP’s and midwives have aren’t at all sensitive. Good luck x

It's difficult to say from this as a pp mentioned the line on the test does look a little thin and strange. Also you have used the override on your bbt chart to plot ovulation? Did ff not think you ovulated at that point- sometimes it can be hard to pinpoint and you have missed a few readings around that time? It is quite a slow bbt rise and quite low temps for the supposed luteal phase, I'm assuming that you have had your hormones tested at some point if you have been trying a while, were they OK?
