Ovulation confusion!

This cycle I have used the easy*@home* ovulation sticks. I have tested for 6 days now (twice a day) and they have all been negative. I am currently on CD 18. My last cycle was 35 days long and one before that was 30 days long. We BD CD 15 & CD 17.

Today I took a clearblue digital ovulation test and it was positive (easy @home test was negative). I'm confused. Do you think we have a change of conceiving this month? I don't get why easy*@home* tests have been negative and clearblue positive, any advice?

It's difficult when your cycles are irregular. On a 35 day cycle you could ovulate around cd21 ish, if your luteal phase is 14 days, could be later if your luteal phase is shorter (mine is 12 days). I'd keep dtd every couple of days.

Do you track your cervical mucus?

@VenusStarr Today is CD 18, last month I think (did not test) I ovulated on CD 19. It was then 14 days after then that AF came.

I have tracked CM this month and I started yesterday with EWCM which I have today too. I'm hoping the static smiley face on the clearblue test means I am going to ovulate perhaps tomorrow which means I've still got time to DTD!

I DTD on CD 15 & 17 so hoping that's helped too.
