Coil removal

So I've had my coil removed and am currently trying for another baby, any other mums in the same boat as me? We have only just started trying last 2/3 months which isn't long but feels like a lifetime when your waiting for the day you get a positive result!

I had mine removed in March didn’t get an af until may and been irregular since. That feels like it’s been forever already. 😩

Have you had a positive result yet? Fingers crossed for you sweetie! Is this your first baby you are trying for ? AF keeps returning every month like clockwork 😂🙈 but finding time to do the Deed seems also impossible between looking after the animals and the house and working and looking after DD we are only having sex maybe 8 times a month, and I'm not entirely sure that is enough! Xx

Got mine removed in June and just waiting for my second AF since removal. Pretty sure I ovulated CD12 and now CD23 so just waiting to see what happens! At least if AF turns up i’ll know that my cycles have gone back to normal. First one after coil removal was 40 days long so really messed up!

Have you been tracking bbt?

Lf803 · 27/08/2019 18:06

@ladyk03@lady I have gotten so fed up with only getting flashy smileys I bought an Ava 12 days ago so I’m tracking everything now so fingers crossed at least I will hopefully know for sure when/if I ovulate. We’ve been DD every other day if we can but sometimes you just don’t want to. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Banoffeepie91 just started tracking BBT this cycle.👍🏼

So I'm wayyyy behind on what all these abbreviations mean, what is CD? But I haven't been tracking my cycle or anything like that just been DTD and hoping for the best. Should I be tracking? It all seems way too complicated. Wow 40 days!! I would not wish that on my worst enemy! Feel for you I do.

@ladyk03 CD is cycle day so the first day of AF is CD1.
Haha, I meant I didn’t get AF for 40 days not 40 days bleeding. God that would be awful! Though when I first got the coil put in I had spotting for weeks which was pretty bad.
I’ve found tracking quite helpful but it’s not for everyone. I just figured if I did have any problems conceiving then I could go to my gp with a really clear idea of how my body is working.

Ahh okay thank you & that's way better than bleeding for 40 days! Lol

I mean I have my period app which tracks my period for me but I don't use the ovulation kits or anything like that. Yeah that's a good idea, fingers crossed you get a little bundle of joy to grow soon xx
