Still waiting for a normal period...

So I'm 6 months now ttc.
I was on the contraceptive patch for around 6 years, but have been on contraception for around 14 years altogether!

I have around 1 day of red period, no flow, only when I go to the toilet. And then it's goes to brown blood for a day or 2. This has been the same for 6 months and doesn't seem to be improving.

Can anyone offer advice on how to bring periods back to normal, it's getting me down as I think it's starting properly and then it just stops!

Iv had day 21 bloods which came back fine! But obviously I can't have a very good lining as not much sheds! X

I'm not sure that's necessarily true about the lining - have you spoken to a GP about this?
