Has anyone here ever missed two periods, had only negative tests, and was actually pregnant?

I'm trying to focus on any perceived symptoms I have had as I know you can't rely on them.

Going crazy here. Really overdue a smear test as well and of course they can't as I technically could be pregnant due to the missed periods.

Anyone? :)

Can you book in for blood tests?

Nabana · 06/08/2019 13:33

Well I've been googling like a madwoman and apparently if a urine test can't pick up the hcg then a blood test won't either. So I feel like I have to just wait and see - not easy :(

Hey!

I'm in the same situation,
Ttc but on CD65! All negative tests.
I had my implant out in January and have been having regular periods up until beginning of June then nothing since!

We are on month 3 of ttc, my apps said I was due on a week ago. I last tested on Saturday, also not sure if I'm even ovulating as opk lines never seem to get dark enough!

I don't know when's The point I'm supposed to go to the doctors? But will they just fob me off and say they will come back eventually?

Also went on a few long haul flights in June so know that can mess up cycles too.

All so frustrating, I feel your pain! X

Maybe the blood test wouldn't be any more accurate for determining pregnancy, but you should ask your GP to investigate other potential reasons for your periods stopping.

It's unlikely/almost impossible for you to be 2 months + pregnant but not have enough hcg to get a positive pregnancy test. Your hcg would be ridiculously high now.

Are you tracking ovulation? If you aren't ovulating, then you could just be having a really long cycle. That's more likely to be the case if you're recently off bc.

Either way I really feel for you as that must be rubbish! Usually the advice is if you've missed more than 3 periods in a row, you should see your GP. Good luck x
