I hope no one minds, I was looking for the September bus and couldn't see one so thought I'd get it started.

Hi @Bezalelle, how are you finding TTC so far? I thought I'd be much more relaxed this time round but spent the last two weeks driving myself mad symptom spotting and trying to see imaginary lines on tests. I'm hoping it's out of my system a bit now and I can just enjoy it.

Only off pill in May for AF been different every time so far varies from 20-28 days long. So i guess 21-25 August due af/bfp, so a tad into August still.

@HopefulButScared that is exactly how I am feeling! The last two cycles, I've been super vigilant and anxious about symptom spotting. From now on I'm going to be a lot more laid back.

I'm currently having weekly acupuncture, and using preseed.

My age is what worries me. I know 38 isn't ancient, but I really hope I haven't missed the boat.

Hi @Caspianberg, welcome! It's so much more difficult when your cycle is out and you don't know what to expect. Hopefully it will regulate soon.

@Bezalelle I'm going to have to force myself to be more sensible about it otherwise I'm going to burn myself out. Also DH might change his mind

There are lots of people having children much later, hopefully you don't have any issues.

How's everyone doing? In a bit of a situation here as we go in holiday with my family in a month for my birthday. If we try this month we would find out 5 days before we go and have to tell them immediately (they would know!). On the other hand if we don't try and it doesn't happen for ages I wonder if I will kick myself because it could have this month. Any thoughts?

@HopefulButScared I'm in the TWW here. Tests showed ovulation last Friday I think. Will test if no AF end of next week.

Kind of in the same position here in that we have a large family event at the end of October in a hot country. If I do get a BFP this month (attempt month 3), then I will have to tell them at the 9/10 week mark as won't be able to hide it due to everyone swimming in the sea etc, so no baggy clothing. I assume anyway, no idea how big a bump can be at 10 -11 weeks.

If in the next 2 months then would be either just or only a little, so can probably get away with it as the designated driver and I don't drink much anyway so wouldn't be hugely weird to avoid.

Either way, I am not going to put TTC on hold, as events will always happen, so if we wait now, there will bound to be another reason crop up.
