Which test is best at 3 days late?

Af is currently 3 days late and I'm wondering if a pregnancy would show up on one of the cheap basic tests or whether it would be better to get an first response early detection. Just don't want to spend the extra money on a first response if not needed 😊

I'd get a first response just so it's 100% yes or no right in front of you. You don't want to get a cheapie and then think hmm and buy a FRER anyway and spend more money

Once past due date, any of the tests should pick it up, but why buy a cheapy and wonder if it's a neg or crapy test ;)

I would get a digital (twin pack) if you are 3 days I would prefer the word 'Pregnant' to analysing a line and thinking is this a evaporation line / indent line or is this line to weak? There is no arguing and double guessing the words. It would either say pregnant or not pregnant. But be aware, your body might take longer to produce enough hcg than the average woman, which means that it might give you a false negative. I always buy the cheap ones or a first response then get a clear blue in few days (depending on the strength of the line) and only then tell believe it.

There was a bit on my pad which was dark but when I wipe it is pinkish/light red

When I say dark I don't mean dark red, I mean like a funny browny yellow. There is only a small amount of that in the pad and occasionally the light pinkish blood when I wipe. Bit TMI, sorry!

Looks negative so I have no idea what's going on...
