TTC #2 after implant removal

Hi,
Looking for a bit of advise I'm having my implant removed this week eeek!!
I'm super excited to start trying for another baby, was just wondering on who had theirs out and their stories as in how long did it take for you to conceive?
I'm really hoping we catch straight away as I'm sooo impatient lol

Any stories would be lovley to hear x

Never been so happy to see her 😂

So happy we can properly start TTC when this weeks over!

Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I got my implant out on 1st August and got my period on 14th for three days and for the past 6 days I’ve been ovulating as using a ovulation test and I’ve woken up this morning with my period?? 😔😔 does anyone know if this is normal?

Hi, how long did you have your implant in for?
Maybe it's just your body adjusting back to normality

@Lauren3118 I had it in for 2 years, I just thought that my cycle would go back to normal after my first period 😔😔

I had mine for 5 years and I got pregnant on my 2nd month trying. Good luck 😊

@Natmac190715 how many days after ovulation did you get the period?

And lauren could be right it maybe your body getting back to normal my period was weird this time

How long after having the implant out did you all get your period??
Mines been like 4 weeks and still nothing I'm not very patient either!

@LiveEachDay mine was just over 2 weeks

Had implant out on 31st july and first period 18th august

I had periods while on the implant aswell

Mine was almost 3 weeks,

Doc told me that could take up to 6 weeks though

That's a relief I had a period just before I had it taken out but they are usual quite regular
I assumed it might be because I had it out and my body just needs to get use to it not being there

Period is due on Sunday (i think), no got any symptoms at all this time.

Hi can i jump on this thread please! Im 8 days post implant removal and impatiently awaiting my period! I havent had any symptoms of any kind since it came out except my forehead has exploded with acne. Its reassuring that some of yours returned in just a few weeks. I have always had periods on my implant so hoping that goes in my favour my ovaries havent ovulated for 9 years i am worried they have forgotten how to work

Af is due on the 23rd ish .. been using opks and I've only had 2 faint lines but that was 5 days after period finished, everything since then there's been no line, wondering if i could of ovulated straight after period finished (within them 5 days)??
Having some weird cramps past 2 days - not like period pains before more like a pulling sensation and really bad acne 🤷‍♀️ have no idea what's going on

@jadelouiselaird thank you! i dont have anybody to talk to in real life about this as nobody knows im off birth control let alone TTC.. threads like this make me feel a little less alone.
@Lauren3118 did you use OPKs after removal or did you wait until you'd had AF? i have a supply of them and its tempting to use them but i know its probably pointless at this stage.

I was doing opks and getting faints only got 1 that was a little bit darker but dont think it was peak so im not sure on that one.

Ive read a few threads about people experiencing the tugging before maybe a good sign

@blackpinkinyourarea I waited until AF had gone but forgot about it so did it 4/5 days after that's when I got the faint lines

@jadelouiselaird i have no idea what to think, just something feels odd if that makes sense as it's my first month after coming off the implant I'm not getting hopes up yet but fingers cross AF doesn't show up again over next few weeks

@Lauren3118 fingers crossed, ive also got acne aswell must be hormones lol

Have you been taking any prenatal vitamins?

@jadelouiselaird just the folic acid ones from Superdrug I started taking them before I had my implant out x

AF is here! Fingers crossed this is my new cycle and I will ovulate soon. Will start using them daily once af is finished and wait and see.

AF due tommorow for me

1 day late for AF

Tested and BFN

Today got loads of EWCM, which is strange

Not sure whether its to do with coming of implant and my periods havent got back to normal even though i had one last month

Arghh so confused lol

How are you getting on @jadelouiselaird, any sign of AF?
My period last friday lasted for literally 2 days which is weird :/ not sure if it even counts as one or not!! Ive used opks since sunday and so far all very faint.
I have had EWCM today but def not ovulating so like you jade im v confused!
