Hi everyone, i recently had my implant out (wednesday last week) to start TTC, i went for my smear test on saturday and the nurse said my cervix was high. I had a google and it says your cervix is high when ovulating or pregnant. Ive been taking ovulation tests and they are all negative so not ovulating. Ive read your cervix position can change throughout your cycle, is this true or is it just I have a high cervix. I don’t think I could be pregnant this soon, ive not had AF yet. Opinions/advice would be welcome

You could just have a high cervix, or a wandering one, or whatever. Please don't believe all this stuff that if you have x you are pregnant. It's not conclusive.

@cranstonmanor thanks i didnt think i was pregnant, just wasnt sure what affect a high cervix has on pregnancy/ovulation etc. Just wondered if anyone had the same thing

None, probably. My cervixxis high and facing backwards, when I asked the gynea about it she said that most Asian women (Im not asian) have that and they seem to procreate fine...

Cervix position changes from high to low at different points of cycle.

Cervix position and types of discharge etc aren't really a fool proof way of determining pregnancy either.

Think our bodies can confuse us at times 😂

Good luck on TTC though! Hope it's a quick and healthy process 😊

I don't think there a one size fits all rule for cervix position unfortunately. Ive never felt a high open cervix and I ovulated every month! And during the first month or so of my pregnancy it was still low and firm (now nearly 30 weeks and too scared to poke around... )
