Getting pregnant after implant removal.

So me and my partner have been trying for a baby for 7 months now, I had my implanon removed on the 2nd of January this year, but I had it removed a year earlier, I just wondered if anyone else has struggled getting pregnant after having the implant removed, I already have one child to a previous relationship and so does my partner but we haven’t got one together and I’m really starting to worry a little bit, because we are honestly at it like rabbits. And help or advice would be appreciated. I’ve been taking pregnacare which seems pointless, I eat a healthy diet and don’t drink or smoke. I’m even questioning if I’m having sex the right way. 😂 mad woman over here.

And you tracking when you ovulate?

It took 8 months for me after the implant was removed - the added complication being I was also breastfeeding and didn't conceive until the month after I'd totally stopped that.

Yeah I have the flo app and I have pain when I ovulate too, so I tend to know when I do ovulate. But it just doesn’t seem to be happening x

I know it's different to the implant but it took me 18 months to conceive when I came off the mini pill

It took us about 9 months to conceive after implant removal. My cycles were quite irregular initially. In hindsight i think this was fine and still considered within the normal realms of fertility. I know it's hard not to worry but id just continue as you are and see what happens. Best of luck Smile

Hi everyone when you came off your implant did you have pregnancy like symptoms?

i got mine removed 2 weeks ago and got sore boobs, stabbing pains in boob, cramps, nausea etc
I had periods on the implant, and im pretty sure i was due last week but nothing yet.

Was just wondering if anyone else had this?
