We've been trying for a year now, and just been referred for fertility. However, just POAS to see if this month was any different, and I got this faint line with a Boots test. Could this be it?! How reliable are Boots tests normally? Just will be really stonking happy if it is true, but also don't want to get my hopes up.

Is this it?

That looks pretty positive to me, congratulations! 😊

Bellaposey · 03/08/2019 15:01

I've not used a boots test before but that looks a clear positive to me! Maybe get a FRER - I've always found them to be the most reliable.

SunnySunshine1990 · 03/08/2019 15:14

That's a super clear positive! Huge congrats 😀 xx

Bol87 · 03/08/2019 17:55

100% positive! Congratulations! Such lovely news after a long road for you!

CatInADoghouse · 03/08/2019 18:00

Congratulations! That looks positive to me

HappyGirl86 · 03/08/2019 18:13

I see it! Congrats! I love happy stories Smile

Yakadee · 03/08/2019 20:46

Looks positive to me! 🎉

Hawse · 04/08/2019 05:39

Thanks everyone. I ended up taking a second test this morning (got up way early to do it) that said 'negative' so I am pretty gutted now. :-( Will have to go buy another one and hope that it settles whether I am pregnant or not.

@Hawse how many dpo are you? The digital ones are known to be less sensitive. Get a FRER. Don't be disheartened. You're not out yet x

Hawse · 04/08/2019 06:30

@newgirl89 I am 14 dpo today. And I did use a digital one, as I thought it may be easier to get a read. I'll go buy a FRER when stores open this morning. But definitely a roller coaster....

@Hawse everything crossed for you. Keep is posted. X

jpaws · 04/08/2019 07:41

That certainly looks positive, congratulations. I second getting a FRER ... I never used a digital after reading on here they aren't too reliable for early results.

Sw19911 · 04/08/2019 09:32

I can definitely see a line!! Quite clear too!
I feel the same as you. Had a very faint positive yesterday and then I have taken one first thing this morning and it is negative! Only about 11 days post ovulation.

SunnySunshine1990 · 04/08/2019 14:04

Any updates @Hawse? Keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

Hawse · 04/08/2019 17:33

I think the universe may be playing with me a bit (maybe because I want it so bad). So I tested again around midday, this time with FRER. It was a definite negative. No hint of a line. However, AF hasn't come yet. So I don't know what to think at this rate. If AF hasn't come by tomorrow evening, I'll buy another and see what happens. Sorry everyone, and thanks to all the lovely people wishing me well!

Don't give up hope until AF is here. Your urine could have been too dilute. Try with FMU. Keeping my fingers crossed for you Thanks

newgirl89 · 04/08/2019 19:30

@Hawse still not out!! Do a test first wee of the day. X
