Faint line on OV stick meaning?

Just a question. I've just bought these cheap ovulation tests from home bargains and used one today. There's a very faint line on the test window. Does this mean I just finished ovulating or I'm getting closer to the day of ovulation?

I've been away visiting parents so partner and I will be trying tonight. If I've missed ovulation I'm going to be gutted.

If it was negative yesterday then ovulation is imminent, but if you've randomly tested then It could mean either, I'd be trying though as still positive :)

Thank you! No it was completely random, I just thought I need to start using them. Will use it again tomorrow. xx

What cycle day are you and how long are your cycles? Some people always have a low level of lh so might always get a faint line. You might need to do a couple a day as you get closer to ovulation.

Some people will always show a second line (I do) because LH is always there.

I'm on ov day 13. I've got a feeling my ovulation is either earlier or later the. The 14th day. I just missed early testing early due to being aware so will start from around day 9 next cycle
