BFP after miscarriage at 13 weeks - should I tell my GP

Hi all

Just got a BFP finally! I had a miscarriage just under 2 years ago at 13 weeks that was really complicated. When I see my GP should I tell them? Not sure if it makes a difference to what they do!

Thanks in advance!

Congratulations and I'm sorry about your loss ❤️

They asked me about previous pregnancies anyway when I saw them so I would. They might already know if it's in your medical records. X

@Yakadee thank you and thank you for replying :)

I figured they’d probably already know but wondered whether it’s wise to mention. I’ll mention if they don’t ask!

Super nervous of it all happening again but feeling happy that I have conceived Smile

@Madaleinerw - it probably is worth mentioning it. They might just keep a closer eye on you which I'm sure wouldn't be a bad thing.

Wishing you all the best and a very uneventful pregnancy xx

Congratulations! I’m sorry about your loss.

I’d tell them, they may be able to arrange an extra scan or two for reassurance.
