Fluconazole panic

Hi.
So around 2 weeks ago I took a single Fluconazole tablet for thrush, not thinking. After I read online that it shouldn't be taken in pregnancy because one Danish study linked it to a slight increase in birth defects. Today I took a pregnancy test which came back positive... instead of feeling ecstatic I'm tinged with worry and guilt for taking the tablet... can anyone out there reassure me that they've taken Fluconazole in pregnancy before with no problems? Thank you Smile

You may not have been pregnant at the time of the tablet. I wouldn't worry just now. Speak to your midwife or gp for proper advice though

I am just kicking myself for taking it without thinking... I've been so good otherwise, no alcohol, taking folic acid etc... just didn't think! I will obviously mention it to the GP when I go... just hope I won't spend the next 9 months worrying and feeling guilty...
