Anyone’s first natural period so so heavy and soak through a tampon / pad in half an hour, had such bad cramps all day...

Can’t remember them being like this 🤦🏽‍♀️

If you’re soaking through a pad in less than an hour you’re supposed to seek medical advice.

When I stopped the pill my first period was horrible I hated being at work, using tampons and pads I was panicing I would leak if in a meeting for an hour or more. It was pretty heavy for about 3/4 weeks light for another week or so, never thought it would end. Got loads of clots too. I then had a period 3 weeks after I finished that one and it only last 5/6 days, far less clots and alot lighter. If you are worried or feeling unwell I would go see a doctor, but you may well just be adapting to removing hormal contraception. They might advise you to take iron if it is causing you to be anemic

Thanks for the replies! It’s still heavy but better than yesterday, definitely think it’s the Adjustment but so happy to have my first natural period since the pill! X
