Af due on Sunday

af due in 5 days and so far haven't had my normal "af cramps/twinges" or sore boobs - these symptoms happen up to 7 days before my af is due usually. So who knows! Going to test tonight because I really don't care and can't wait much longer- anyone else testing tonight?

Hi DayDreamer, I'd happily join you, although I tested this morning and AFisn't due until Monday - far too early and you'd think I'd know better the second time round. Apparently not! I'm already driving myself mad imaginary symptom spotting and trying to compare to last time.

@HopefulButScared so hard isn't it :( on my fifth cycle now so I just don't symptom spot anymore, every time I've symptom spotted af has arrived so I've ruled out most things that to used to consider "symptoms". The only real difference this month is not having early af cramps/twinges, as I normally get this really early on before af is due. Fingers crossed for us both !! Just bought a house and we are so desperate to fill up the rooms with babies hehe

@Daydreamer71 I'm so impatient, I hate waiting for anything, especially things like this that I have no control over! I just need to know! This is our fist cycle TTC#2, our first took 3 cycles. I remember wanting to fill bedrooms so badly when we first started trying. This time round, I'm just so excited we have finally made a decision to have another baby (we've been back and forth so many times for so many reasons) that I'm just desperate for it to happen now. Even though we only just started trying I think it feels like longer because we've been talking about it for a year now.

Thanks guys, my FRERs didn't arrive on amazon prime (ordered on Saturday 🤷🏻‍♀️) so did a normal non-early detection one and was of course negative 😔 maybe that's the universe telling me to wait...

@HopefulButScared I'm totally with you.
I'm exactly the same. I was ready for a baby a year ago, had to wait for DH to catch up and be ready, so even though we are only on cycle 5, I have been waiting for over a year for this!

I'm a control freak too and the fact I have no control over this gives me anxiety! Wish I could be relaxed about it

@Daydreamer71 don't be down-heartened yet. It's still very early. 5 days before af is due there's only a 33% chance of a positive showing and that's with an early detection test I think. You're still in.

I think when you're the one that's been ready for longer it feels like you've been waiting forever before you even start. Obviously though it's better for both to be completely committed. Doesn't make it any less frustrating

Yeah exactly, so while DH is supportive etc., he doesn't fully understand that this has been a much longer process for me. Glad we both agreed on a timeframe though, it's a nice feeling being on the same page and planning it together.

Tested this morning. For a moment I thought I could see an extremely faint line but it was my eyes playing a cruel trick on me. With DS I think it was today or tomorrow in my cycle that I got a really clear BFP so feeling a bit disappointed. Still a few days to go though.

@HopefulButScared do you have a picture or was it really bfn?

Terrible picture and not sure you can see anything there. I've been scrutinising the test at all angles and I'm still a tiny bit convinced there is something at times but then at others nothing so I think I'm just kidding myself. I guess tomorrow will tell.

Oh I've just gone all the way back three and a bit years in Ovia and it was another two days before my positive last time! Feeling more positive again not out yet!!

I had such vivid dreams last night and had about 5 different dreams, they were all so weird! Who knows what this means eh haha

@Daydreamer71 Absolutely, far too early! I'm thinking that is it is it would be clear tomorrow and trying to put it out of my head (very unsuccessfully)

Oh that's strange, who knows! Would be interesting if it was a sign though.

Just really feels like AF is coming today so feeling really down and sad and hate everything

Oh I'm sorry @Daydreamer71 There's still time but it's so horrible seeing the negative. I'm OK thank you, feeling a bit disheartened but trying to remind myself it didn't happen this quickly last time so it's not the end of the world.
