Hi guys I’m new to this so please don’t judge me not sure if I’m in the wrong place but I’m just looking for abit of help.
So basically in March this year I made the choice to get an abortion, it happened by mistake and me and my boyfriend didn’t have a house we was still living with our parents, and he didn’t have a stable job etc.. now we have a house and he has a stable job, we’re in a better place together now and are now ttc as we have a better life.
Ever since the abortion my cycle length has been about 40 days, I’ve been so worried something has been wrong with my body so I went for an ultrasound scan on the pelvis and all is clear, and I had some swabs also and all is clear, but my cycles are long, does this mean I’m not ovulating? Does this mean I wouldn’t be able to get pregnant? I just need some help as I’m so worried!
Thanks

You can try measuring your bbt (basal body temperature) and tracking your cycle using ovulation predictor tests (opks).

If you are ovulating it will likely be around cd26 as the time between ovulation and period is on average 14 days. Try looking out for changes in your cervical mucus, the most fertile is called egg White (ewcm) as it literally looks like raw egg White.

Good luck
