End of August bus

Hey guys decided to make an end of August bus as there is already an August bus and by the time we get to the middle of aug we will need a new one anyway and it will keep us all around the same time in our cycles.

@Tamalama - yes, I have got to book self in for blood tests (he's filled in the form and authorised them) so am going to go friday I think.

Yep, DH isn't keen on it but has said he will if I want to. But I think there's no point as the womb lining won't be ready for implanting if I'm ovulating Tuesday and still shedding!

It's good that you'll be getting your blood tested. Yes, I know what you mean about dtd during your period...

So I was playing with my son and my niece today and my poor niece was sick. I cleaned it up and she's went to her home with my brother in law. We think she's got a tummy bug, the poor thing! Ovulation is due on the 19th (according to the app) but I feel it will be earlier as I had a long cycle last month. Anyway the reason why I'm sharing this is because I'm now concerned, if I inevitably catch this bug could this mean I may not ovulate? I have pcos and stupidly long cycles so I don't ovulate every month as it is! URGH anyone else feel like it's one thing after another? 😩😩😩

@MrsD0147 only a Month! Had Mirena removed beginning of July.
Am trying not to get obsessive about it. But as I am 36 and also the added pressure as it's my DH's first baby. Feel a bit 😬😬

@november90 I don't think that bugs will affect ovulation, but it can delay it (according to Google), so I'd advise using opks just to be sure you dtd at the right time 😊

@Tamalama thank you! I have an absolute irrational fear of sick as it is! But I suppose we have to accept it as one of the parenting not-so-perks don't we!

I might have to climb back aboard the bus. Woke up to brown spotting and cramps. Super light. Spoke to my dr friend who advised going early pregnancy. Scan done and bloods- scan nothing showing (which it would be at 5+) just waiting on bloods to confirm

Got one step closer though this month so ready to go again 💪🏼

I'm not great with all the lingo but TTC baby no. 2. We've been trying for a few months but it's just not been happening. Been using clear blue ovulation tests so we hit the right window. Feels like it's never going to happen! It's been a relief to read this thread and see lots of others have been trying too. Hopefully this is the month 🤞🤞

Still haven't had a positive OPK but had all the symptoms EWCM, cramps yesterday so not sure if I've just been testing at wrong time as only done once a day. Had a tiny bit of spotting yesterday though which has never happened mid-cycle before, can this happen at O?

@sao81 I had cramps and ewcm a few days before I got a positive opk reading. I was convinced I was out because all tests were negative but all the symptoms indicated I should be ovulating. Anyway, got my positive opk on Saturday with minimal cramping and ewcm, and suddenly on Saturday evening I had horrible ovulation cramps so I knew this was it! I'm not sure about the spotting but what I've learned this month is to use opks and not give up hope 😊

Morning ladies! So, I had my positive opk smiley on Saturday which lasts for 48 hours on the screen. I used a cheap one too which was also positive, and I used a cheap one yesterday, and the lines were still strong.
This morning I was able to use the CB test again and did a fmu test and it’s now back to the circle, so I’m back to Low again. I also took a cheap test this morning and the lines weren’t as strong, so I guess I’m now officially 1dpo?! We did the dtd on Thursday, Saturday and yesterday, so I’m hoping it’s enough. 🤞

@november90 it is an accurate level for the gestation I should be but I imagine the follow up will show a drop rather than doubling. X

I did my first cb this morn showed low so I'm gunna skip one tomorrow and do one again on Wednesday
