End of August bus

Hey guys decided to make an end of August bus as there is already an August bus and by the time we get to the middle of aug we will need a new one anyway and it will keep us all around the same time in our cycles.

Urgh feeling really down today. How does everyone keep their minds off it? I think because my sisters just announced her pregnancy everyone's talking about it and it's just a constant reminder. Can't seem to get out of this slump! Plus my cycles are so long AF not due to 3rd sept and that's only if it isn't delayed again!! Ovulation may not be for around another 3 weeks :(
Gonna try and have a really healthy month. Last month I was a bit naughty and put about 5 pounds of (my bmi is normal and no where near overweight) but can't help but wonder if this caused a delay! I have suspected pcos.

Welcome everyone. Anyone going to try anything different this month?

I've given up on OPK's this month as I get pain when I O so I can pinpoint it nearly down to the hour.

I'm going to try and relax as much as possible and work out and eat healthy and have as much BD as we can with OH shifts. Holiday in 6 weeks so I'll either have a beach bod or a 6 week pregnant bloated belly. Fingers crossed for the 6 week pregnant bloated belly [laughing]

Tempted to join but worried a bit early!!

Will be TTC number 1 in August , AF due 12th August so similar to @lornz !

Sorry that you are feeling low @november90 the thing is it IS really hard ttc and that is a fact ppl say it should be fun and to relax etc but they can fuck off excise my french! It is stressful when all you want is a baby with the person you love, be kind to yourself hat healthy, go on long walks on an evening if you can , take a bath listening to fave music.
My sister is expecting but I am no contact so it's differenr situation but we constantly have people asking are we trying. X

@Sophieb15 waiting for AF this month should be around 7th August, then going to DTD ever other day until suspected AF/BFP and see where that gets us, seem to always start off well then have a good few days where we're just so busy we don't have time but needs must

Can i join too ladies? I think AF due 22nd august but i can be irregular! Not doing any temping or OPKs at the moment as was trying not to put too much pressure on! Not sure if that is actually working

@mrssunshinexxx thank you, that's so kind of you! It's so easy to feel alone and pressured isn't it? But it's also so lovely to have you ladies to chat to on here! I think I'm just feeling a bit anxious which doesn't help! But yes a healthy mental and physical month is just what I need :)

@Sophieb15 I think this month I’ll try to actually make sure we BD three straight says following positive opk.

Will also make sure I’m more consistent with temping. I’ve got the hang of it now.

@november90 sorry you’re feeling down. TTC is exhausting mentally- it’s the lack of control I think. I’m trying to keep my mind off it, to be honest, it’s harder than anything because temping and using opks etc doesn’t exactly take my mind of TTC.

I know not to trust my trolling body though. I had a glint if hope last cycle, but with my PMS (which is horrible) I know not to trust anything as a potential pregnancy sign. Sore boobs, cramps, nausea are all PMS symptoms for me.

CD - no idea. No period since stopping pill 32 days ago. No BFP either so waiting on AF which I'm hoping arrives ASAP!

Not temping or anything yet. Just hoping for AF so I can track things properly. :)

@Lauralozzle My PMS has got worse each month too it is horrible and so painful.I had the exact same as you Sore boobs cramps and nausea and backache the day before my full flow. I counted my CD 1 as Sunday because it was only a bit on the tissue when I wiped on the Sat evening.

I think the month I've no symptoms will be my month but you never know.

@Sophieb15 I know, PMS is bloody terrible.

Maybe you’re right, the month where there are no symptoms could be the month it happens!

Feeling horrible today, but I’m trying to eek out the pain killers cause CD2 is usually the worst by far! So I’m contenting myself with Poldark 😊 and chocolate whilst DH makes my dinner.

I'm very confused regarding opks. I did one when I got home and it was negative, which is fine. I got the accu news ones (cheapies from Home Bargains because I can't afford clearblue this month ☹️) and the leaflet says not to use fmu as it can provide a false positive?! Just wondering what time of the day you ladies test? I did mine this evening when I got home from work...

Had a lovely weekend this weekend, up until the point me and OH we're sat around a table with my dad (no one bar my best friend knows we're trying) and he blurts out 'so how long are you going to make your mother wait then' 🙃🙃

Even though we're only on cycle 3 it was a slight kick in the teeth x

@Tamalama I usually do an opk 2nd morning urine and then in late afternoon when I’m back from work.

I've been tracking ovulation using OPK and testing in a morning and afternoon. (You go through a fair few tests but I've definitely found it useful).

@flossy12 it's hard isn't it? People often say things without thinking and don't realise how insensitive they're being 😕☹️ it's even worse when you're actively trying and af appears every bloody month! X

AF due at some point as I have no idea!

We’ve been using OPKs since May and finally got a positive on them on the 11th July only for AF to arrive 9 days later on the 20th so I’m not sure how accurate any of it is. That was the first period I had since we’ve been trying so might have been false. Now tracking using Clearblue connected and are showing as low fertility for the last 5 days of testing so I think it’ll be a long month.
