End of August bus

Hey guys decided to make an end of August bus as there is already an August bus and by the time we get to the middle of aug we will need a new one anyway and it will keep us all around the same time in our cycles.

@november90 I'm CD15 today so I'm a day behind u. Keep up the O tests if u can it might tell you more about your cycle especially if u are having EWCM xx

After my positive opk yesterday, today's was lighter in colour. So I guess that LH surge is over?! We managed to dtd Thursday, Friday Saturday and today. Phew so keeping everything crossed!

I've also decorated the hallway and only now going to sleep!! So pretty 😴😴 right now...

Realistically- could I still not ovulate until 48hrs after a positive opk? It was positive yesterday at about 10pm. Does this mean we have to get a few more days in of dtd to cover ourselves this month? Not that it's a problem 🤭

I need some advice! Got my positive opk yesterday so think I ovulated today so starting my TWW tomorrow. We go on holiday on the 27th for 2 weeks, if I were to test on the 12th (11 dpo) do you reckon that would give me a good idea if I was positive? And would a doctor pick it up on 11 or 12 dpo? Or am I going crazy?! I can't imagine getting a positive before holiday and not being able to get it confirmed by a doctor before we go away! 😩

@flissity definitely get one more in today! Can still concieve upto 24 hours after ovulation anyway so it will keep you covered!

@something20 if you use a FRER theres a chance it could show, but it'll depend how high your hcg is and when the implantation happened, id take some on holiday too if it were me

8dpo,, just 6 or 7 little days until AF is due. Had a dream last night I had a BFP in the car on the way to work? Weird I know😂 but woke up thinking I need to do one, got the urge to POAS. My partner is guarding the drawer with the tests saying dont use the good ones its too early to tell hahah🤭 I'm going crazy but I know it'll be a BFN now anyway its too early. Anyone else going insane?

@Something20 the tests the GP surgery use aren't as sensitive as the early tests - they only detect after first day of missed period. So I agree, I'd take some on hols too.

@Something20 if you ovulated yesterday you are due AF the 25th. The doctors test are cheapies so I wouldn't go the them before you get your BFP. You could test on the sat/sun and go to the doc the mon hols then tue?
@flissity just try once more tonight and you should be covered.

How is everyone today?

I'm feeling a bit flat 😕 yesterday I had a bad headache and nausea and my uterus had the weirdest popping sensations, like popcorn popping and weird fluttering. I had it for a least a couple of hours.

Today I've got dry cm and I think I've got tummy cramps coming that are like af 😕 I feel a bit hot and flushed today but other than that no symptoms ☹️

@Sophieb15 - I’m trying to do SMEP, missed a few days at the start though.

DTD yesterday, so that’s 2 days in a row. Just have today and tomorrow before I take a break for a day!

Massive temp dip this morning so think ovulation may be today, at some point.

@mrssunshinexxx it's due either on 16th or 18th, depending on which app I go by! I'm 8dpo today x

@Tamalama keep positive you just never know try not to test early could you try and wait for af?

I feel abit twingey in the ovary area but I know it's all in my head

Hi @Tamalama i am 8 DPO (i think too) and felt sick all day yesterday think i let the excitement go to my head as i feel fine today now which has made me feel a bit flat . Each cycle i tell myself not to get too excited but it is so hard isn't it

@Tamalama I feel like my husband doesn't really understand either - though i said to him the other day, do you know it's only a short window for me and he said he did know...

@Sophieb15 30 minutes!! well done i couldn't keep my legs up for 30 seconds i wouldn't think haha. I think that second OPK you posted yesterday is definitely darker than the first - i do get some sharp pains a couple of days before OD and then again around that day so possibly it's the same for you? Also our bodies are just so complex, maybe the pain the other night was something else...

I'm feeling like things aren't going to plan for me - I got my positive opk yesterday (CD16), had been planning to do SMEP but got of to a bad start. dtd CD12 and CD15. Was so tired yesterday that we didn't...feel like i should've started earlier so CD10 and then done 12, 14, 16. Planning to add in CD16, 17 and maybe 19? Any advice would be great!

oh sorry a mistake in that last bit - add in CD17, 18 and maybe 20.

Well we managed a quickie before work while kids downstairs watching tv!!
My Dh is absolutely loving this 🤣 he's Only 27, so hopefully with him being young will balance out my ancient 36 year old diminishing egg population!!!

@Tamalama Try not to think about it as Implantation occurs between 6-12 DPO so you may not even be at that stage yet. Most of the time Pregnancy symptoms start after BFP. With my first It was 6 weeks before I had nausea. Is there any project you can start that will keep you busy for the next 6 days

@MrsD0147 Try keep yourself busy for the next 6 days. It's a hard process this TTC. What cycle is this for you? Is is ttc no 1?

@Sophieb15 we're away for 2 weeks and off to Tenerife ☺️ if I do get a BFP I'll be 6 weeks 4 days by the time we get back! 😮

So my app said Ov was today as had 2 positive OPK with FMU and again around 3 yesterday but at 4pm I had a really sharp pain around my right ovary so think i might have Ov late yesterday afternoon/evening, we dtd this morning as well , so today is CD16 and now for the long TWW app says AF is due in 14 days so will test on 25 Aug and hope for a BFP.

So is everyone in the mad TWW now?

@mumofbun managed 30 mins the first day only 15 20 mins last 2 nights. 2 more nights now of seducing OH haha. It's quite easy but 5 days in a row is such a chore. I'm trying to make it interesting each time haha.
I had one cheapie left this morning and said if it was lighter I would def count today as O day so went to opening packaging and nothing inside I got a dud haha only happen to me!!! I'll pick up another pack on my way home there only €1.50 and take one when I get home tonight.
You should be covered with CD12,15,17,18 I wouldn't be worried that you missed one day

@Something20 oh lovely fingers crossed 🤞🏼 that will make thefirst 12 weeks go way faster 😁

@AmIseeingRight I'm due the 26th let's hope we get our BFPs 😁 I'm going to BD tonight and tomorrow just to be sure
