So on Friday 7/8 dpo I had a faint positive on FRER which I don't trust as its seems like every time I take these even when I haven't been pregnant I always seem to get these faint lines and I've seen that so many others have also had this.

Then today 8/9 dpo I used a pound shop test that came up with a noticeable positive then disappeared after 10 minutes. Never ever had this before very strange.

Has this ever happened to anyone else and they turned out to be pregnant?

Tbh this is really early to be taking tests. Very small percentage of people show positives this early.

I got a positive at 10 dpo in my second pregnancy which I miscarried anyway.

My first pregnancy I was 4 days late before I got a positive.

My last pregnancy I got a strong BFP 2 days before missed period so I'm sure would have come up much sooner but I ovulated early that time.

I know I shouldn't be testing but can't help myself as I've had so many symptoms then once you see even a faint positive its hard to get out of my mind :( I'll be 10 dpo tomorrow so I'm going to test tomorrow evening.

Obviously no one can tell you not to test, it's up to you how to spend your money but as someone who's wasted lots of tests due to being convinced by symptoms the disappointment is difficult as you then convince yourself it's too early.

I no longer test til I'm a few days late but that's my choice
