How long to use the holder for clear blue ovulation tests?

Have got a holder from an opened box and did have three tests left so only used two tests as had a day of low and skipped straight to peak with hindsight should have started testing earlier in my cycle but just followed the instructions and went with them, my last three cycles have varied by a few days and this has been since my last two missed miscarriages so that is why I was unsure of what day to start testing, this is the first cycle back using the ovulation tests. I do have a new back of tests and don't know whether I should start using the new holder for the next cycle? X

Hi OP. It's okay to use the previous holder for a new cycle. The important thing is you use the same holder for the whole cycle as if you switch part way through it will record the wrong baseline reading. Either will be reliable but I have found sometimes that if I use it for a long time it does die eventually. I've only had that happen once though.

@veeboo, thanks for replying to me will do that and keep using the same holder. Wish it would tell you on the box or leaflet how long it will last.

I've not used the same one for more than two cycles because like you I'm usually mid box when cycle starts. Good luck!

@veeboo think that's what I'll do not use it for more than two cycles, pain when it comes to how you're mid way through a box. Thank you 🙂 are you trying at the moment? X
