Boobs sore after period

I've noticed after af finished my boobs have been tender, last three cycles have varied by a couple of days. This cycle I've tracked ovulation, first day was low and second day went straight to peak, phoned clear blue helpline and they said this can happen if your cycle is shorter. But I'm just wondering why my boobs are tender, my period was light and only lasted 3 days..

I always find I get random boob pain through my cycle.. different every month!

Pregnancy boob pain is something else though. Both pregnancies i’ve actually not started with any pain until bang on 6 weeks. Then it’s agony. I can barely wear bras this week and when my toddler accidentally knocks them, I get tears in my eyes!

Not sure about the light period.. if you are worried about being pregnant then take a test. I’d say unlikely if you’ve had a 3 day bleed but not impossible.

@Bol87 just strange that they are still tender after period has finished, don't know if it's related to the projesterone pessaries I've been prescribed from the consultant at the miscarriage clinic, use them for 7 days from when I think it's been 7 days after I've ovulated, take a test if negative, stop and wait for a period which I did, no idea if I did ovulate as didn't use any tests, but thought I would this cycle so that I have a idea when ovulation happens and I know that you don't always ovulate, that the tests are looking for the hormones. Period did seem light but then it has been since I've had my most two recent miscarriages, hardly anything on a towel. Have been considering taking a test but worried about it being negative and being disappointed, also worried about being pregnant again after what's happened, desperate to give my little boy a sibling. Xx

Hey can I ask how you got on?? Took my first cycle of progesterone pesseries last month. Had a negative test and a period and from cycle day 8 I've had really tender breasts! Now CD 12 and not had a positive ovulation test but usually do on CD12, only started testing from CD10. Was the progesterone the reason for your early breast pain? Feel like my hormones are all over the place!
