So I have pcos and I know can sometimes get false readings through opk but I know previously I would never get a positive so seems a little strange.

What I am confused about is I thought I possibly might have got my surge at cycle day 21 as ovulation strip was very dark and seemed to match test link. Clear blue digital test said no.
Although I have since discovered the newly purchased clear blue digital pack I bought from Tesco expires Feb 2018

I have had sore breasts, increased discharge and felt pains so thought I would just try ovulation tests and basically the strip came positive and so tried the clear blue digital and got a smiley too.

Was I wrong about the first strip at cycle day 21 and it wasn’t a positive or is it likely both are false? Just found it a little strange that both are being picked up as positive now but didn’t on cycle day 21?

Hoping it isn’t my body playing tricks on me lol... have two boys already, second conceived through first time of taking clomid as was struggling with ovulating. Although since ds2 born, periods have been a lot more regular.

Any idea what the hell is happening lol?!

So you had a positive opk on day 21. When did you test again?

What I thought was a positive. Strip looked like a yes but clear blue digital said no.

I have attached strip day 21 as think ever so slightly different to positives I got on both on cycle 26.

Wondering if I mistook the cycle day 21. When I did test that day at about 9am it looked lik was getting close to being a positive and by 2.30 got what I thought was a positive and then by half 5 it was very faint again? So seems short, could it be that body was trying to ovulate but didn’t quite get there and tried again (yesterday).

Took another two tests this morning and still positive.
The one this morning to me looks a lot more darker than test line.

Really hoping it is genuine 🙏 x

If it was a very short LH surge, it may not have triggered ovulation, in which case you would surge again. So this might be a bigger surge, which would hopefully trigger ovulation. Good luck!
