Confused about period

I'm looking for a bit of advice as I'm confused. We have been TTC #1 since January 2019. AF arrived on Wednesday which was CD29 (I am very regular, AF is always either CD26 or CD28). My flow has been a bit different this month. It has been considerably lighter. The first day was a bit lighter than normal but the next day and today have been really light (only needed pantyliners tbh). Possibly TMI but the blood hasn't been as red, mostly brown and not really passed any clots like I usually do. My cramps have been less intense too. I don't track ovulation, but I did have EWCM and ovulation cramps on CD14-16. I'm wondering if this may have been an anovulatory cycle or late implantation but it doesn't seem feasible to be late implantation as it after my period was due? Last period before this was June 25th.

I think it would be too late for implantation bleeding if your ovulation guess is accurate. There's a chance you could be pregnant, and this just a bit of light bleeding that many people experience in early pregnancy..... But to be honest, since it's come pretty much at the same time your period is due, it's probably just a weird light period due to fluctuating hormone levels this month, which happens sometimes. Maybe take a pregnancy test to make sure, then if negative see if next month is the same and if so make see your gp and ask for some blood tests to check hormone levels? Good luck!
