Line eyes?

Hi! Looking for opinions on this, me and my dp have been ttc for about 10 months.

So far I've never had a pregnancy test that's been positive at all so just wanted to see if other people would think this was a positive?

I know only a doc can confirm but just wanted opinions.

I did an ovulation test on the 11th of July and it was a solid smiley on the CB tests so I'm assuming that I'm currently 12/13 dpo? (Please correct me if that's wrong, still unsure about OPK's etc!)

Although, for 12/13 dpo id have thought this was quite a light line?

I've attached a picture of this test aswell as the first response I took after it to try to confirm in case the test was faulty! The FR in person has a very very faint line but it's not showing up the best on camera!

Looking for opinions on this please😁

That's a line! Congratulations!

Looks positive and I think that tomorrow it will be darker and confirm it!

Louise24902 · 25/07/2019 22:15

Thank you everyone for the replies!😁

@chardonm hopefully! I'm going to try with FMU when I'm up and see if it's any darker, it's how light it is that's concerning me but not sure if that's just normal for just now!

Please update us. Good luck!

Piplette · 25/07/2019 22:23

If the first two tests are the asda own brand then they are known to throw false positives.

The FRER is a squinter - definitely test again tomorrow with FMU. Good luck!

Louise24902 · 26/07/2019 09:29

@Piplette yeah it is an Asda own, I never knew they were known for false positives, I'll definitely test again now with FMU.

The second one was a FRER, not the early response one just a normal one and there was a very faint line but I thought it should have been darker, I have another one in the pack so going to try now!

I can see a line on both tests. I used Asda tests for both of my pregnancy's and both were correct ! Good luck x

KatnissMellark · 26/07/2019 09:32

It's highly unlikely the Asda one is a false positive as there's a line on the FR. Congrats OP Flowers

Louise24902 · 26/07/2019 09:37

@greyby25 that's really reassuring, thank you! Going to try pick up a digital today but with the line being so faint not sure if it will detect it or not.

@KatnissMellark hopefully! It's more how faint the line is, especially on the FR, id have thought it should be darker by now so worried that that means somethings wrong or a possible chemical?

I've done another FR today with FMU, the line is still very faint but still there, I've attached a pic but again it's not the easiest to pick up on camera!

Line eyes?

I can still see something on the most recent FRER. It's this a squinter though! But i can see something x

katiebutler01 · 26/07/2019 15:00

@Louise24902 I’m in the exact same stage as you.... did both those tests 2 days ago looked exactly like yours. Don’t bother with a digital one yet, I’d wait till the day AF due for that. When is AF due? We will be due the same time as I ovulated that date. Xx

Louise24902 · 26/07/2019 15:42

So did a CB normal test and it also has a very faint line, did a boots digital and it said not pregnant.

@katiebutler01 to be honest I have no idea when it's due, my periods have been all over the place which is why I was trying to wait until 12/13 dpo!

I've been getting some cramping today which has worried me a wee bit, going to a wait a few days and test again!

The ER stands for early result. Do you mean you used a first response test?

katiebutler01 · 26/07/2019 16:21

I had cramping today too and also a bloody mucus show which I had with my others, so cramping isn’t necessary something to worry about and is very common. Xx

Siobhan29 · 26/07/2019 16:27

If you’ve taken a few tests and they all have a faint line i‘d say that’s an early positive. Too many to be an evap line as that would be I likely on a few. Some tests pick up lower levels of HCG than other meaning less sensitive tests can give you a false negative in early pregnancy. I would take another test tomorrow with FMU, good luck op!

LadyOfTheFlowers · 26/07/2019 16:29

Don't mean to put a dampener on, but I can't see any lines on the FR ones 🤷🏼‍♀️😐

Siobhan29 · 26/07/2019 16:32

Forgot to say as well op that my 10/11dpo tests were too faint to even show up on the camera, try making them black and white and fiddle about with your camera settings as that showed mine up. I’m now 5 months pregnant.

BasinHaircut · 26/07/2019 17:07

I think I can see something on all of your tests so fingers crossed!

Casander · 26/07/2019 17:52

Mine was like this op, and also the boots digital I did also said “not pregnant”
I’m now nearly 24 weeks with a little girl! Good luck x

keepingbees · 26/07/2019 18:14

Those cheapy ones aren't reliable, so go by the FR result. I can only see the faintest shadow of a line, I wouldn't say it's positive (yet)

Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 26/07/2019 19:53

OP just a heads up, the FR tests that you're using are the Rapid Results ones, they require anywhere between 50-100mui to show a line (depending on which websites you listen to) get an early results one and that will tell you for definite.

Louise24902 · 26/07/2019 21:30

@MyDcAreMarvel ah yeah sorry, I'm in such a habit of just writing ER because that's usually what I mean🤦‍♀️😂
