Positive not getting darker

I got a BFP yesterday at 8dpo (yes, 8dpo) and then again today at 9dpo. The lines are both very very faint but definitely there and there’s colour to them. Is it OK that today’s isn’t darker than yesterday? I know only time will tell and I’m trying not to stress too much but I’m worrying it might be a chemical ! Has anyone else had this and gone to have a healthy pregnancy?

Try not to worry, over a day at such an early stage you might not see much. Try to compare every 2-3 days that are darker.

I've been told by multiple drs that the amount of dye can vary and they don't measure how much hcg just whether avow a certain level is present.

However I have also seen lines getting darker and myself had one in June that got slightly darker then lighter over a week, unfortunately that was an early miscarriage and shortly after I started to bleed.

If you try again tomorrow/ in a couple of days and still no darker at all you could try your dr for a blood test but unfortunately if there is something wrong there's not much they can do.

🤞🏻 for you but don't worry as it's so early and only 1 day in between.

Thanks for your reply. It’s made me feel much better. I know I shouldn’t be worrying. We’ve been trying since October and I just want it to be a proper positive so badly. This TTC thing is bloody stressful!
