Just bumping this for you, OP. Hopefully someone in the same boat will be about this morning.

Hi @wedding2018 I came off the pill in April and since then my cycles have been 30, 34, 31 which is weird to deal with after being on the pill for 10 years. but im using the Ovia app to track my cycles and i find it really good to log things in. it gives your predictions based on your input. also this month ive started to use the OPKs to see if i can pinpoint ovulation a bit better. how long have you been off the pill for?

Mycrazylife85 · 22/07/2019 14:36

I'd love a 34 days cycle to be honest. Since coming off the pill in January my shortest so far is 40 days and as long as 74. I just eat healthily and keep exercising, and hope for the best.

I have 31-35 day cycles. Always have - apart from when I was on the pill. If your cycles are always a certain length then you'll know you'll ovulate approx 14 days before your period starts. My luteal phase is always the standard 14 days or - it's just take longer to come around. I also know when I'm ovulating as I usually get mittelschmertz (sp? - ovulation pain) and other symptoms too. Hope this helps a bit...

Hey! My cycles vary between 35 and 54 days, it's so frustrating! I use OPKs, I get them off eBay and they cost around £3 or so for 20 so not too bad, I usually test twice a day and check cervical mucus also. Tried temping but wasn't for me x

Benjispruce · 22/07/2019 20:28

34 isn’t long. Normal cycles are up to 45 days. 28 is just an average.

xJune88 · 22/07/2019 20:33

My cycles used to be about 38-45 days I'd ovulate on day 27ish get alot of opks and test 2/3 times a day to find out when you ovulate I could also feel pains in my ovary and knew what discharge to look for (clear stretchy egg white) I also hated temping. Currently have a 9 week old little girl! Goodluck x

Nova324 · 23/07/2019 13:51

have you tried OPKs yet or temping? this could help you get a better idea of ovulation dates?

Wedding2018 · 23/07/2019 20:47

@Nova324 i have done ovulation sticks from day 14 but not had a positive

Nova324 · 23/07/2019 20:56

Yeah this is my first month doing opks. I started on day 9, on day 13 now and still no positives. But think I'm not supposed to ov til next week. Keep going with the opks and see if they pick something up! Cause you might still be ovulating later

Wedding2018 · 23/07/2019 21:35

Yeah just brought sum ovulation sticks today so going to do them tomorrow morning and a pregnancy test coz my pms still not started and im on day 36
