One Step Pregnancy Tests

Hi all,

I have a 4 year old with my ex partner and I am 24.

I have been trying since March 2018 with my new partner to no avail (he’s 21), I have been to the doctors and they informed me that everything was fine with myself and that I have regular periods.

I do get quite bad ovulation pain so I was worried about a cyst but my doctor wasn’t concerned.

I came off my period on 5th July and Natural Cycles predicts I ovulated on 15th but I know it was more like 11th July because of the ovulation pain and CM.

I’m now on cycle day 19 and I am due on on the 26th.

I have no symptoms whatsoever other than being really tired.

I ordered some Step One tests from eBay and took one yesterday (early I know). For some reason, I’m getting this weird line on them that’s not quite the same as the other red line. I took an Asda test and that was completely negative so I’m really confused.

Can someone please shed some light? I know it looks like an Evap line but it comes up immediately?

Confused.

I have just seen another lady have the same thing with these tests and AF came?

If you get the £1 freedom test from Asda they are a lower sensitivity ( 10miu same as one step ) than Asda own brand it’s 25. But I got lines like that one on the one step and got my BFP so looking good! X

I could never get positives on those strip tests which is so weird! I am deffo pregnant too 😂 I always got on well with FRER or the cheaper versions

Thank you! I've just tested again with a 25ml and it's negative but the One Step are definitely 10ml and have a line. Would 10ml pick something up whereas a 25ml wouldn't, especially if I am 8DPO roughly?x

Superdrug are doing frer with £2 off. Good luck

So I did an FR on Friday & Saturday - both BFN.
I did another OneStep today and BFN.

AF due on 26th so I'm losing hope :(

I had the same problem this month. These one steps kept showing a really faint line and I was late. I even posted a thread on here about it. AF did arrive. I am just under the impression that they are just rubbish.
I’m going to be using their OPKs this month and I just hope they are more reliable
