Am I finally about to ovulate?

I've been using OPKs since my app predicted ovulation. The app is obviously a load of crap as it didn't happen then but I'm on day 18 of my cycle today and the line finally got darker but still not a positive.

What do you think ladies? Should I be getting busy or am I still a few days away?

Get busy. Sperm live much longer than eggs, you don’t want to miss the window! The best time sex is a day or two before ovulation. Some women have a short LH surge, so although that doesn’t look positive yet, you might have your surge just after and then it be dropping again by the time you take the next one. I’d suggest you get busy ASAP and keep it up every two days

My tests always look like that then suddenly I will have a positive, I usually do OPKs twice a day when they start to get stronger as I have a short LH surge so some months I miss it completely!

I've done two today with no difference in the darkness of the line so will BD tonight and test again tomorrow.

Wilko will need a restock at this rate. I'm spending a fortune on the blo*dy things.

After miscarrying twins in April the want to become pregnant again is all encompassing. Was pretty chilled about the whole thing with my other 2 DC.

So sorry for your loss, I had an ectopic last July and it just makes you want it so much more doesn't it! It's hard not to become obsessed especially when you're having to POAS twice a day! Good luck!

Thanks @DeadDoorpost! Got a big fat positive today quite surprised I'm ovulating so late. I'm on day 19 now so must be a longer cycle this month. But will defo take a trip to Poundland if it doesn't happen this time.
