The midwife was lovely; they’re getting me booked in for an early scan in about a week. She thinks it was implantation or hormonal bleeding (so may have another slight bleed when my next period would have been due) so it’s still basically ‘wait and see’ until the scan, but the spotting had pretty much stopped by lunchtime so I’m keeping everything crossed that it’s done now. X

@ELW85 that's really good news. And one week isn't too long to wait for a scan which should hopefully be even more reassuring. Xx

@purplefig @Anny27 - thanks both! Waiting for them to call us with a date, but the spotting appears to have stopped so just keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻
She said she wouldn’t be surprised if I had another bleed in a few weeks at the same time my next period would have been due, but I just hope there isn’t any more and the scan is good news xx

Hey ladies just want to say a massive thank you to you all for you kind words today, I would be here all night tagging you so I just wanted to do a massive shoutout it’s so nice that we are all here to support each other in the good times and the bad! So looks like I’ll be sticking around a little longer than planned but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else than with you wonderful and supportive gals ❤️ I can’t wait to follow all your journeys while I take the next month off TTC but I’m always here if you need me xx

Someone in the last thread asked about my treatments. I can't find the name to tag her. I had a salpingectomy around cycle 7 for a hydrosalpinx and started follicle tracking. The hormones are to ensure we get an egg per cycle from the side with a tube. Chemical pregnancy last month.

Next scan is tomorrow. Think follicular thoughts! X

Weirdly, feeling relieved after BFN yesterday, at least I know now. Well, I'm assuming so. AF due next Tuesday, ironically the day I have a job interview! Great timing. So if she doesn't arrive I'll test again but the 1 I used is pretty sensitive so should have indicated something. Poor DP is clearly disappointed. He is really looking forward to Fatherhood!

@ELW85 haircuts are great! A chance to be pampered and walk out feeling like a new woman 😊😂 enjoy!
Having lunch with a friend on Saturday and then off to Birmingham on Sunday for training for the week. DH has been working quite late this week and so a bit sad I won't even have next week with him!

@MIW01 sorry about the BFN. If AF isn't due till next week, though you may have tested a bit early? How many dpo are you?

Hello ladies, I have been watching this thread and it’s lovely how caring and supportive you all are to each other. I am 31 ttc baby number 1. I only started this journey in June after coming off the pill so it’s very new to me but I find these forums very helpful. I am CD1 after AF arrived today after 45 days 😬 I have just purchased some ovulation sticks for this cycle in the hope they’ll help me work out what’s happening when. I am already feeling overwhelmed by ttc. I know it sounds stupid but I never realised before ttc what a lot of us have to go through 😬

@sunshine8888 welcome :) i started TTC at the end of May so similar to you. Currently cd18. I used ovulation sticks this month and found them really helpful to pinpoint when i ovulated. I started using them about cd9 and ovulated round about cd15. What day do you think you will start testing?

@LokiCat yep i found the femometer really easy to use even when i was half awake at 6.30 haha!

Just finished watching love island (guilty pleasure) and looking forward to a hopefully quiet friday at work

I don't think we will have a chance this month,I've been recording my temps and no ovulation calculated, normally happens around cd11 I'm on cd18

Thanks @Anny27 I think I’ll try similar although I think I’ll be later rather than earlier due to my last cycle being 45 days 🤔.
