Morning and happy Friday! Ended up going to see The Lion King last night after dinner. The original will always be better, but I still loved singing along to the songs 😊 also managed to DTD last night as well.
1dpo today according to apps, but FF is waiting for three temp rises to confirm.

@Lottiepink thanks! Fingers crossed for you too. Looks like you've covered your bases - now we just need to get through the dreaded tww together!! I think we're going to try once more tonight to be completely sure 😂

@hopeandpray1988 thank you! It was a lovely night, DH has been working so many late shifts so it was much needed to have some time together :)
I think that's a great idea. It's so easy to stress yourself wondering what each rise/dip means. Hopefully all will be okay at your scan!

@Macbless that's great! It does feel nice to finally have some pressure off. I'm due on the 16th, so will most likely be testing around the same time. Hopefully it's a lucky week!
Your weekends away sound brilliant - hopefully enough distraction from the TWW 

@Anny27 yeah I was thinking the same, get something small. It's so much easier rather than trying to think of an extravagant present each year 😂
Your plan sounds great. Haha it is funny how all plans to have a relaxing TTC journey go out the window. I'm too controlling to just leave it up to chance 🙈

@Anny27 AF due tomorrow/Sunday so I will test if she’s late! Feeling emotional today and have extremely sore nips so 🤞🏼 I have a feeling that she will come even tho I don’t feel like she is!

@whatsthecraic91 sore nipples sounds super promissing! Fingers crossed for testing on sunday/monday then :D how long have you been trying?

@anny27 I’ve never ever had sore nips before so could be a good sign! This is cycle 7, I come off my pill on Christmas Eve, taking much longer than I hoped it would. How long have you been trying?

@Anny27 no weren't really going for smep, hopefully we are still covered tho 🤞🏻I was very relaxed about everything this cycle and then all of a sudden I realised I was on cd15 and got a positive opk, earlier than last few cycles 😱
Scheduling dtd just happens really doesn't it, although I don't tell dh unless he's not in the mood and I know we should be 🤣🤣

@LokiCat yes in the tww together to the day it seems 🙈😂 hopefully we will have a good outcome 😊 Pleased you enjoyed your date night too!

Happy Saturday ladies! I've been used to not coming on here so forgot to check back in! I went to Mexico in may for my bils wedding so had to pause for 3 months due to Zika risk. Back on it now and we actually DTD in my fertile window! Nice to feel like I'm back in the game. Doing lots of DIY today, I'm exhausted!!!

DH is at a friends bbq today so its just me and the cat! Not got much plans, probably do a bit of cleaning (oh the excitement!)

Hey ladies we are back from our friends wedding what an emotional day! Bride herself has experienced a loss (ectopic) she was so lovely. Her mum even came over to say how sorry she was to hear about our loss. Bride at the end of the night asked how I was and I cried! Our other friends who've recently had a stillborn were also there and struggled as well. Beautiful wedding and I am so grateful for them all as friends.

Anyone due to test?

I’m due to test tomorrow/Monday, super nervous tbh, tested Tuesday it was BFN - probably too early!

We are going to try SMEP next cycle if AF arrives, sounds like hard work tho!

@whatsthecraic91 thank you lovely happened in May. Emotions still catch me off guard sometimes but we are trying again and 🌈will happen.

We did ok until the 3 days in a row and life took over and just couldn't do it. If we aren't successful this month we will try again

Welcome back @Lemonysherbet didnyou love Mexico? We've been 3 times, amazing place, would have gone back this year but the zika risk stopped us :(

@Anny27 haha Things us women take on 😆 Enjoy the chill! I've literally cleaned the full house today and pulled everything out, just sat outside for an hour to chill a bit. Always clean on a Saturday, what a waste tho ha! My dh is at work, he will be home soon then a chilled night is on the cards!

@MrsH497 Aww pleased the wedding was lovely, how nice of them to check on you, friends are the best 😊 with them all going through similar things, they will know the struggle too. Hope you are feeling ok today ☺️

@Lottiepink we did ok first few days doing the every other day then got the positive OPK (earlier than I expected) and with travelling to Yorkshire for the wedding we just didn't manage the 3 days in a row. DTD as soon as I got the positive OPK though so fingers crossed.

As a group of friends they are fantastic all us ladies have had issues me with a MC and taking a while to actually fall pregnant, one ectopic, a stillborn and one friend with pcos so extremely unlikely she will conceive she's been told.

How's everyone's weekend?

@lottiepink yes it was incredible. The hotel was amazing too! If it wasn't so far away I'd be back in a heartbeat!

So took an opk, glow is saying it's not positive. Is it lying? I've never had one come up this dark before so I would assume it is positive?

P.s. the hair in the photo is from my husband's chest 😂 he is hairier than the cat and moults more than her too!

@MrsH497 it's such hard work 😂 yes fingers crossed you still caught it, we did it the night of my positive opk and then the next night, hoping we are in with a chance too. Aww having such supportive friends which have been in them circumstances will make it that little bit easier 😊

We stayed in the riu Yucatan in playacar and the wedding was at one of the other rius just round the corner. Couldn't fault it one bit.

Awesome thanks. We DTD last night, not sure either of us have the energy to go again tonight, typical! My app said I was due to ovulate Tuesday so thought we had loads of time!!!

@MrsH497 thats so good that you have supportive friends!
Regarding SMEP - I think the 3 days in a row is so hard haha especially if its during the work week. I need to take a holiday every fertile week and then DTD every night wont be a problem haha

@Lemonysherbet looks positive to me :D i reckon even if you miss tonight and DTD tomorrow you will be fine:)

@Lemonysherbet I hate zika!! I love the Caribbean but can’t go now we are ttc ☹️ I thought the risk was 6 months with men and 4-6 weeks for the girl though. 3 months isn’t so bad although would feel an age when wanting to start ttc!

@sunshine8888 they reduced the waiting time a couple of months ago 😁 3 months isn't too bad if you want a break.

Oh also just to flag boots have spend £10 get £2 back in points. I took advantage and bought some preseed- first time so will be interesting to try it!
