@ValidUser yes I think it was. Thanks for sharing, that's really interesting. Sorry to hear that though and of course, keeping everything crossed for you. IVF is definitely a last resort thing!

@newgirl89 congratulations! Overwhelming and exciting all at once. And is funny how that happens, I've heard so many stories like that.

@LokiCat yeah, that's what our GP has recommended. We've come up with a plan though (we love to plan). As we were DTD in the evening all of last month (I'm not a morning person) we've agreed to do it in the morning this month and if that doesn't make a difference. Next month we'll be in the USA during my fertile window so maybe a different time zone will help! And tbh, we'll prob just relax and do it to our enjoyment And if that doesn't work then we'll try alternating morning and evening so we have min 36 hours between and max 60 hours between DTD. Hopefully that will bring us success. In between time I'm chatting! Temperature all over the place atm as I don't wake up at the same time everyday though.

@georgiarclark11 have you tried using ovulation tests (opks) and temping to try and figure out if ovulation is happening?

@newgirl89 congratulations :) i know that everyone is always happy to see a BFP (gives us hope!). Happy 9 months to you :)

I am out this month ladies, big temp drop and spotting last night and this morning which means AF is coming :( was feeling a bit mopey and down last night but i have perked myself up and focussing on the next month! Xx

And thank you for asking too, @MIW01 - sorry I forgot to reply yesterday; it ended up being a crazy day!

This early ovulation has completely thrown my apps off this month 🙄🙄 Flo and Glow and Ovia are all saying a different AF day 7th, 9th, 11th respectfully

However Flo and Glow are both saying OV on the 29th August and Ovias fertile week dates are the 28th to the 2nd 🙃🙃 this months a lucky dip! Guess I better buy myself some more OPKs 😅

@ELW85 That’s fab - I’m a big believer in a positive mental attitude :)
I’m fine - had another scan today at 9+5 and everything was great, they look like tiny little babies now :)

@MrsEG - ah that’s amazing! Can’t tell you how happy I am for you :)
Are you on a treatment plan for the rest of the pregnancy or are they just reassessing you as you go?

@ELW85 Thank you lovely :) I am essentially discharged from the RMC clinic now and I start weaning off the treatment over the next two weeks. I’ll see the consultant at the twin clinic next week and he’ll reassess my bloods but as all is looking good it seems at 12 week I can stop with all the treatment :) Which I really can’t wait for!! Steroids (and twins!) making me gain weight like crazy and I won’t miss the injections one bit. Has totally all been worth it though :)

@MrsEG - that’s absolutely amazing news!! Certainly all worth it, and I reckon weight gain with twins and steroids is more than justified 😊

@MrsEG not too bad thank you lovely started SMEP this month so fingers crossed. Feeling optimistic this month and trying to relax and enjoy!!
Saw a girl at work who I'd found being pregnant quite tough to see and she's actually been really lovely. Also meeting with a boss about changing our policies and attitudes on miscarriage and still birth. So trying to get something positive from all this.

You must be so excited for twins! How are you feeling?

@MIW01 wow that sounds like brilliant planning. I'm unfortunately not organised enough to plan like that! Where in USA are you off to? We were in Miami in March, had a great time! Going away does put you in the DTD mood :)
Ah, do you work shifts? I've got my alarm set for 30 minutes before my normal wake up time to make sure I temp properly.

@Anny27 ah so sorry it looks like AF is showing. What dpo are you? Could it be implantation? Everyone needs some time to feel down about it, but I'm glad you're feeling better! Treat yourself to something today :)
It generally varies between CD19-23. I've seen the start of some EWCM today, so I think my fw may be starting!

@LokiCat @MrsH497 You both 100% will; for some horrible reason it just isn’t quite a straight road for all of us. But it will happen :)

@ELW85 Ah yes we’re so pleased and honestly the weight gain doesn’t bother me much, especially given my new diet of bread and more bread. I’m just listening to my body and giving it what it wants - carbs and sleep!! Will check in on Weds and see how you get on x

@LokiCat thank you chick 😘 I'm hoping its good news. My boobs are getting more and more sore and my DH definitely reckons they are bigger (and heavier 😂) and my spotting has stopped. I've got normal cm now but seems to be more than I would usually get before I got my bfp. I'm also really tired 😴. Hopefully all good signs 🤞🏻

@MrsH497 - I think it’s awesome that you’re going to be helping inform the work stance on miscarriage.
Sometimes employers can be a bit blunt in their approach, so anything to make it more human and supportive of others is fantastic :)
I always see the SMEP is like a marathon! Good on you for giving it a go!

@whatsthecraic91 we are cycle buddies to the day! I'm feeling super weird this month but Im not sure if I'm just desperate to test and I'm imagining it. Mostly I feel full to brim and sick all the time! 🙈 I'm gonna do an early response tomorrow morning.... I can't wait any longer. 😳

I stupidly did a test tonight and it was BFN and so I've packed away the test for tomorrow. The disappointment is real but I know you should use your first morning pee so dunno if I'm clinging to straws.

If I got a static smiley on a CB ovulation test yesterday, when is best to count as my ovulation day? I can't go by the apps I have because they're not predicting me ovulating for another couple of days! I can't go through my TWW not knowing exactly how many DPO I am 😄
