Morning ladies,

Congratulations @cupcakesandglitter wonderful news.

Thanks for the recommendation @Lozzlepop I have DP agreement we'll give it a go this coming cycle (AT arrived Thursday) not told him what it involves just told him it's a plan to follow.

Larrydavid · 28/07/2019 09:59

@cupcakesandglitter huge huge congratulations! 🎉

MrsEvangeline · 28/07/2019 10:05

Hello! New to mumsnet and thought I'd join this thread. Hope that's ok. Been ttc 1st baby for 16 months. PCOS and recent HSG with a blocked tube. Done FRER today 9dpo and had a shadow. Anyone else experienced this? Got pain in left ovary moving to my uterus. Feek like I'm going crazy!!!

cupcakesandglitter · 28/07/2019 10:07

Thankyou @FlapJackered his morphology was 1%, his count wasn't too bad this time (last SA he had an issue with everything) if I remember right, we DTD with my legs on his shoulders, then he left and I finished off with my legs on the headboard 😂 and then was in London for a few days so did an obscene amount of walking (for me anyway 😂) we ate super healthy at the start of my cycle (slowly dithered off back to normal though) but I've not been temping or using OPKs, and actually wasn't using my app to check where I was unless I was posting on here!! I didn't "relax" though and tbh up until ovulation I'd had a really shit time - a few days after I'd ovulated we had some really good news and I can genuinely say I've been happy and felt like me for the last couple of weeks, I really think that had a lot to do with it xx

@ELW85 according to my LMP I'm 25th of March!!!! Omg!! Almost EDD twins!! (For now, I know I ovulated late 😂😂) wahooo 🎉🎉

Thankyou @Imjustme2019 @Larrydavid ❤️❤️

ELW85 · 28/07/2019 10:30

@cupcakesandglitter - that’s awesome!! I keep getting variations between 22-27th but the majority say 22nd. Imagine if we end up going into labour on the same day 😂

cupcakesandglitter · 28/07/2019 10:35

@ELW85 😂😂 that'd be pretty cool, let's wait and see 😁😁 xx

Kiza · 28/07/2019 11:56

I have my GP appointment on Friday to discuss concerns around us conceiving/miscarriages.
I've been swotting up on NICE guidelines after hearing some stories of GP's turning people away for investigations unless they've been TTC for at least 2 years (which is not true it's 1 year)
So thought for any of you who are heading to the GP and not getting the support you need I'd post the link to the NICE guidelines

www.nice.org.uk/guidance/cg156/chapter/Recommendations#investigation-of-fertility-problems-and-management-strategies

MIW01 · 28/07/2019 13:06

@ValidUser ah I see. Thanks for that! We have been doing that apart from the OPKs so I guess not quite as accurate.

@cupcakesandglitter huge congratulations and celebrations to you! The odds were in your favour after such a long time waiting. That gives me hope as we both have something 'a little bit wrong' as the GP put it. DP has poor motility, so sluggish swimmers and I have low progesterone so will be more difficult for it to happen naturally for us. So I'm glad to hear that even with low odds it can happen!

@ELW85 hope you are starting to feel better and all is progressing OK?

Shout out to everyone who got BFN this month, here's to next month and more baby making time to enjoy! Smile

ValidUser · 28/07/2019 13:22

@MIW01 was it you who asked about my fertility treatments last thread? I replied in this thread, but couldn't tag you.

Cycle 13, chemical pregnancy cycle 12, found a bad tube cycle 4, had it removed cycle 7/8, found out remaining tube is open, having hormone injections to try and get an egg from the good side.

I'll be 30 in January - we're going to keep follicle tracking until then. Then IVF if I'm not pregnant!

LokiCat · 28/07/2019 14:25

@ELW85 candles and trash TV on sounds like the perfect start to a Sunday! Oh no, sorry things are still so crazy at work. I hope it's not too bad when you go in tomorrow! Definitely good mindset to enjoy today and not focus on tomorrow.
Week away was good, I think our next session is in October, so a little while before we go away again.

@Anny27 haha I know what you mean! I get so excited buying for our house, my younger self would have been so ashamed 😂

@MrsH497 fingers crossed it works! From what I've seen, it's seemed to have worked for the ladies on this thread!

@cupcakesandglitter so happy for you. Sounds like you had a very relaxed and happy cycle as well, which is great. Have everything crossed it's a healthy pregnancy xx

@Kiza thanks for sharing that. I hope all goes well at the appointment on Friday and you do get some reassuring answers/plan.
I've read that many couples seem to get different answers in relation to TTC depending on their trust, as well, which is quite frustrating.

@MIW01 tbh, sex every other has been recommended by NHS when TTC anyway, regardless of OPKs, so sounds like you're on the right track :)

LikeTheFruit · 28/07/2019 15:04

Just came to see how you're all getting on

Huge huge congratulations @cupcakesandglitter I couldn't be more delighted for you!!! Wishing you the healthiest of 9 months ahead!

MrsH497 · 28/07/2019 17:08

@LokiCat I've read really good things about it. I didn't start until CD9 but hopefully will work! Got a nice weekend away next weekend for a wedding g as well which will coincide hopefully with fertile window! Xx

newgirl89 · 28/07/2019 18:10

Oh goodness. I am freaking out slightly!
Here is my FRER. The lines are totally clear. I am 10 dpo. I ordered tests on amazon. And literally did this one just because I had it in the drawer.
We have only been kind of trying this cycle.
Do you think this is accurate. What do I do!
My message doesn't seem it. But. I am over the moon. I just at the same time am terrified!! X

Makingawish · 28/07/2019 18:34

@newgirl89 that’s a BFP to me! Huge congratulations 🤗

newgirl89 · 28/07/2019 18:37

@Makingawish can I trust it as I did it quite early!? What do I do now haha ❤️

Makingawish · 28/07/2019 18:53

@newgirl89 I’d trust it! The FRER can pick up as early as 8DPO I think. I don’t know what you do now but maybe get a GP appointment? You’ll be waiting weeks for that anyway if it’s anything like where I live! Enjoy the moment until then 😊💜

newgirl89 · 28/07/2019 18:57

@Makingawish I also need to think of a cool way to tell my DP. Who said we could stop trying to prevent pregnancy only 6 weeks ago! One of those things you want for ever. And then feel very overwhelmed all of a sudden! X

Makingawish · 28/07/2019 19:05

@newgirl89 I can only imagine how overwhelming it is when it happens! I always think when I finally fall pregnant I’d also love a special way to tell DH but I think I’d just end up blurting it out. Do you live together? Maybe you should hide the pregnancy test somewhere and set him a little treasure hunt!

whatsthecraic91 · 28/07/2019 19:19

@newgirl89 wow congratulations!!

newgirl89 · 28/07/2019 19:41

@Makingawish and all the other girls. I am sorry if my message comes across thoughtless.
I can not even imagine the struggle that people have to go through.
I've been watching your amazing group for ages.
I wanted to make sure that when the time came I was as much in the know as possible.
I didn't for one second think I would get a BFP so soon. I was expecting months / years.
I don't know if I believe it yet. I'll test again in a few days (I mean tomorrow!)
I'm sorry again if I was really insensitive. Just so shocked!

Makingawish · 28/07/2019 19:54

@newgirl89 oh my goodness don’t apologise! It’s lovely of you to acknowledge people’s struggles but I, for one, am thrilled when other people get their BFP!! I have faith we’ll all get there when the time is right for us 💜

MrsH497 · 28/07/2019 20:04

@newgirl89 I'd trust that! I ended up waving the pissy stick in my husbands face saying look do you see it?! Next time I'd hope to be cool and sweet but I know I'll blurt it out snotty and crying again!
Congratulations x

flossy12 · 29/07/2019 01:28

@newgirl89 omg congrats!! So happy for you! Enjoy your moment and tell OH when your ready ☺️☺️

hopeandpray1988 · 29/07/2019 06:42

@Macbless as others have said... my ewcm is usually pretty consistent and i get it around the day before and the day of ovulation but everyone is different

Congrats @cupcakesandglitter we are only 4 days apart for our bfps!! I got mine on Tuesday!

@Lozzlepop I hope you're doing ok as you can be! 🤗 I've caved and test again this morning and the lines are still as dark as each other and as dark as my last tests. I don't think they are able to go much darker? so 🤞🏻 for Wednesday.

@whatsthecraic91 have you held off to test?

@LokiCat good luck!! Hopefully DH will find the smep ok. 🤞🏻

@newgirl89 congratulations! Have you got any other tests? Your line should get progressively darker over the next few days? Others told me on here your hcg doubles every 48 hours so if you test tomorrow you should see a difference?

whatsthecraic91 · 29/07/2019 07:10

@hopeandpray1988 congratulations on your BFP!

I have held off so far! AF due 3rd/4th, I’ve sore nipples for the first time ever, mood swings & some cramping so I’ve everything crossed 🤞🏼 Going to try to wait to at least Wednesday
