Norethisterone experiences

Hi

I took norethisterone to delay my period whilst I went on holiday as I would normally carry on taking the pill but have recently stopped taking this altogether. I read about a lot of people having extremely heavy periods after taking it. However around 3 days later I had a withdrawal bleed and it was on and off for 2 days but extremely light, much lighter and shorter than my normal period. Has this happened with anyone else? How long did it take for your periods to get back to normal?

I used it in May to delay my period as I was due on the day of my wedding. Took the last tablet on the evening of the wedding which was a Saturday and then the bleed started on Tuesday. I would say mine was about normal/slightly heavier. The following month (June) my cycle was 29 days where was I would usually be 26/27. This month i’m back to normal. Hope that helps. Xx

Oh and according to my temps I did ovulate both months.

I took it in January to delay my period for a wedding. Normal period a few days after I stopped taking the tablets and then normal cycles resumed straight away.
