What’s the strangest TTC thing you’ve done? **Light-hearted**

In all the doom, gloom and generally fucking shitness that comes of TTC, I’d like to perhaps cheer everyone up a bit who (like me) maybe struggling or who just needs a laugh!
What is the strangest thing you have done in the midst of TTC?

I’ll go first.. so the last few days I have been getting some proper squinters which of course are probably in my head.. but I went to test again this morning and of course I had run out (why do I leave empty IC packets in the cupboard!!)
I collected said FMU with the intention to test later today.
On my lunch break I come in and do my usual errands (walking dogs etc) and then with 15 mins left to go I suddenly remember this cup of piss in the bathroom cabinet which I couldn’t possibly wait until this evening to test..
I proceed to wrap said cup of piss in clingfilm, carry to my car (whilst checking coast is clear), place in a cup holder where it stays until after I’ve popped into the chemist and grabbed a test. I then drive (very carefully) until I could dive down a little side street and unwrap my cup (which I’ve near dropped all over my work clothes) and test pulled on the side of the road.
I am still looking at said test wondering where I can see a line 🤔

I think the strangest thing I do is carry around party cups to pee in for ovulation or pg tests 😂🥴 X

Accidentally leaving a cup of wee in the cabinet for my husband to find... also had a moment of madness where I forgot to test fmu so I tried dipping the stick in the not-yet-flushed loo obviously that didn’t work! Oh the shame / weirdness

I also start googling about drinking in the tww every.single.month when I fancy a small glass of wine after work! Ttc is Not much fun!

Last cycle, I spent a good few days sticking my finger up my fanjo to see how high my cervix was...

Never, ever thought I would be giving my OH daily updates on my mucous...

This is fab op. Last time ttc DS I bought a syringe and tubing set up which I think I commonly used for impregnating dogs. Made DH jizz into a cup so I could suck it up (realised the tubing was too long for thick jizz to travel all the way). Piss arsed around and finally inserted it. Well was like pumping up a bloody balloon. And the only outcome was the biggest fanny fart you’ve ever heard. Funnily enough we didn’t conceive that month, or try it again. Fml ttc makes me nuttier than normal.

I also carry around a party cup so I can test at work. People must think I'm always pooing when I go to the loo, I take so long! Then I have to subtly try and dispose of the cup as not all of our toilets have bins!

To bump the thread.. here’s another...
Every single test I take I have to sit on my bathroom floor for at least 20 mins and stare at it convincing myself I can see a line.. taking multiple pictures on my phone of it seeing if I can see a better line on there.

Love these, it sends us all a little crazy! Looking at tests from every angle in all lights possible willing there to be a line. Nearly having a meltdown when hubby was potentially going to be away when i was due to ovulate and telling him he must drive 4 hours home each night.. luckily he wasnt away in the end.

Romantic date night, dtd, lay there cuddling for a minute before I shout ‘shit’ and shuffle around so I can stick my legs up the wall.

Felling really ill and exhausted, but ovulating. Said to dp ‘we need to fuck tonight, but I really cba, so can you try to finish quickly’ he did not look impressed

I haven't told my DP that I bought preseed (I feel like if he knows everything it'll kill the romance a bit) so I'm always sneaking off before "spontaneous" sex to lube up with an applicator 🙈🙈🙈

Insisted that DH wakes me up for sex At 2am when he came in off nights because I had egg white mucus

Wow this has really got me giggling!!! Every post on here is really relatable. Most recently for me, DH and I went out a few days ago. DH hardly, if ever, drinks but he decided to have 5 pints of beer in about 3 hours and was very Very merry. I sweetly reminded him of the baby making plans I had for when we got home. Well it was a pretty drunken fumble and we were both half asleep - I'm ashamed to say that he basically 'dtd with himself' and just put it in at the end to make it happen faster 😭🙈

Using a calpol syringe . DD had woken early so couldn’t do the deed and didn’t want to miss the window!

I check my ovulation apps multiple times a day to see my ovulation window had changed/has been confirmed... I don’t know why it would change throughout the day 🤷‍♀️

Also have knocked cups of wee over on my bathroom floor when I’ve been half asleep/over enthusiastic whilst taking an OPK/pg test 🙄
