Would you get a BFP if you’re starting to have symptoms?

It’s driving me crazy. Currently at day 39 long irregular periods, AF hasn’t arrived despite her being predicted for both the 13th and then yesterday.

I have so many symptoms sore boobs being the biggest one, nausea, dizzy, large nips (sorry) and a few more things. But nothing but BFN!

As I’m long and irregular I’m not sure when AF is ‘supposed’ to arrive but I know it’s late this month. So I’m asking with ally house symptoms being apparent would I get a BFP if I was pg or could I still be testing too early??

You know how it is on tv 😂 they feel a bit sick, test and BAM BFP.

Please help me stop going crazy???

I can’t help but I’m in the same boat as you! Have irregular cycles and no idea when AF is meant to arrive. Currently on CD 34, my app said I should have come on yesterday but I have no idea..
Having many symptoms similar to yours and also having some cramping. I have taken a couple of cheap strip tests and maybe there’s something there but maybe just wishful thinking.

Oh dear! It’s so frustrating isn’t it?? At least you have a little something there, mine there isn’t a whiff of a faint line even!

I’m going to retest probably the weekend, how about you? I was just sure that a BFP would follow when you have obvious symptoms, or is it because we are so irregular we have to wait longer? Wish I knew either way either a BFP or AF @FutureMrsD xx

I just got back from my holiday on Sunday afternoon and period was due to start sunday. On Friday my boobs started to ache and by Saturday I was in agony with them. Yesterday felt a bit nauseated and my period had still not arrived so I took a test and had a very strong BFP. So it does happen! Sorry to hear that you're cycles are so irregular. I hope you get a positive test soon!

@kam610 thank you! Do you think I should wait to test again?

AllHope when did you last test? I would hold off testing for another few days if AF doesn't arrive. Do you usually have symptoms like those before AF? If not then I would say that's a good sign. I've read hcg levels tend to increase every 48 hours so if you are desperate to test then I would wait at least 2 days. Do you have any idea when you ovulated?

@kam610 I tested this morning, I am going to try and hold off until the weekend. I don’t usually get these symptoms before AF.
