The faintest of faint lines at 8dp5dt - is there any hope?

I did a frer this morning at 8dp5dt with our first round of ICSI. There is the faintest of lines (I think - hoping I'm not just seeing what I want to see).

Is there any hope that this will be a successful pregnancy? It seems that most women testing at 8dpt get a much stronger line?

Not sure if it’s even possible to see the line. Maybe I’m imagining it?

I see a very faint line! Good luck fingers crossed!

I’m worried that at 8dp5dt it should be a lot darker than that.

I think I may be imagining a very faint line! Does anyone else see it?
I experienced all sorts of symptoms for the last 5 days! SO tired, dihorrea, stomach cramps and bloating. Also can barely eat a meal.
Advise???

Hi EmC, you might be best to start your own thread, but I can see a line too on your test

cookielove · 16/07/2019 20:02

I do see a very very very faint line op

DotingDaisy · 16/07/2019 21:12

Not just my dodgy eyesight then.

I do worry that it should be darker at this stage though 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can see a line! Depends on the test, how strong your urine was etc. But it looks like the start of a positive. I have my fingers crossed for you x

cookielove · 18/07/2019 14:15

Gave you tested again?

AllSweetnessAndLight · 18/07/2019 14:17

When is AF due? FR say they detect as early as 6 days before AF.

8 days after blast transfer I’d expect a darker line if I’m honest, however it’s so hard to tell when implantation happened. But it really depends on so many things. I’d test again over the next couple of days and see what happens it may have just been late implanting or a slower starter neither which are a bad thing. Your hcg only doubles every 48hrs so depending on your starting point it could take a little bit longer for the hcg to build up. Keeping everything crossed for you. X

Hey @DotingDaisy Appreciate this is over a year old but wondered what the outcome was as I’m in a similar boat right now :(
