A bag around the ovary

Hi girls.I've had a x-ray done and apart from the polyp on the uterus the doctor saw a bag around one of my ovaries. Do u have any idea what it is? Iam not sure about the diagnosis.Did't ask. I was in a state of a slight shock. Never had any problems. No wonder I am not conceiving.

do you mean a cyst on the ovary as in a fluid filled cyst if so they`re apparently harmless unless they grow to big.. they usually grow with your monthly hormones and then generally disappear each month etc but i do wonder whether it did have an effect as i miscarried at 12 wks and it was only then that i knew i had one!!

No. I explicitly asked if it was a cyst. He said it wasn't. The ovary was wrapped in that bag.
