Sac area measuring 3mm

So I had an internal scan on Saturday morning because I’ve not had a period for 10 weeks(now going on 11) the sonography found a sac area measuring 3mm. The nurse said that it’s empty? I then had a blood test and my hcg level was less than 1. The nurse said that it’s very strange because I’ve had no period, sac area empty but measures 3mm and then a very low level of hcg which would class as not pregnant. Has anyone ever been through this before and actually come out pregnant. I can’t seem to grasp if there was actually something there with me getting very faint positives on tests or if it’s the very start? Just looking for a bit of incite before I drag my self through the doctors again. Thank you

To be honest I think you should be going to the doctors. It's likely you've had a miscarriage and the sac is retained products. And you may need medication or surgery to get it out of you.
The hospital who scanned you should have suggested this.

Hcg or less than 1 is definitely not pregnant and even early stages of pregnancy the level would be higher.

I would be contacting doctors today

@Michellebops I had a miscarriage last November but I’ve periods since. So I’m guessing it’s not from then. I’ve spoken to a midwife that referred me for the scan and she’s asked if I’ve got any follow up appointments and I’m still waiting for her to get back to me. Should it just be worth me booking a docs appointment

I really don't think it would do any harm.

@Michellebops doctor said to test in 2 weeks and if no period in 4weeks time to go back
