Hi, I’m new to Mumsnet but I’m looking for some help.

I had an anembryotic pregnancy discovered in February this year with subsequent surgery at the beginning of March (and some complications a week later).

I’m currently 39 and overweight (size 18 5ft 2.5” tall) and we’re ready to TTC again. As you can imagine trying again is making me really anxious, I’m worried about my age, my weight and if we go through another miscarriage. My DH tries his best to reassure me but I thought I’d come on here to see if anyone else had been in a similar situation and if they had any success stories?

Hi, I'm 37 also overweight, but was with my first pregnancy. I have had 2 miscarriages since last March. My daughter is 7 and We found out in March last year I was pregnany - sadly it was not to be but now we are trying. There was the option to go to the GP for testing after my second miscarriage but was not for me. My weight or age was not mentioned as a major issue.
Good luck on your journey xx

I'm sorry for your loss @MrsMc2019. I am 35 and had a missed miscarriage in April. There's a thread on here called the penguin huddle ttc after pregnancy loss - all of us have had a miscarriage and are supporting each other through the ttc after pregnancy loss. It's really helpful to talk about everything there.

Hope you're OK Flowers x
