Missed Pills - please help me work this out

I’m on the mini pill (Cerelle)

Missed a pill on 24th June, bled for a couple of days

Had sex 28th June. Missed pill again

Took two pills usual time 29th June

So now 48hrs gap between 27th-29th

Had sex 6th July, took pill normally that eve

Took no more pills

Have not had a bleed (would normally expect to bleed of missed a pill)

Negative test today.

So if I had gotten pregnant from 28th sex I’d be positive by now??

But I could be pregnant from 6th July and it be showing on a test yet?

If sperm lasts 5 days that takes me up to yesterday.

If I took my last pill on the 6th... when would I likely ovulate?

It's highly unlikely you are pregnant from one missed pill 3 weeks ago.

Also if you have stopped the pill completely your body needs time to adjust back. My friend waited 7 weeks for a period after stopping the pill.

I would invest in some cheap opks and start testing for ovulation as no one can truly tell you if/when you ovulated.

So why all the horror stories about missing one pill being so dangerous?

So now I know I didn’t get pregnant 2 weeks ago with one missed pill (although it was one missed then another missed 5 days later on the day we dtd)

But now I’m wondering about the sex a week ago with one pill that day and then no more.

Yes feels unlikely but historically if I miss a pill or I’m late by more than a few hours I’ll be spotting straight away and I haven’t this time.

Still no withdrawal bleed

And now I can’t stay awake.... 😴😴😴

So if you're only the mini pill you'll just continuously take it, no break? The one I used to take I never had a break.

Anyway in order to become pregnant you'll need to ovulate and the pill if taken correctly will stop that from happening.

One missed pill should not realistically fail you and let you fall pregnant however if missing the odd pill here and there is a regular occurrence then yes your body will not be protected from pregnancy and may kick start your system into ovulation. But taking it some days and missing days is just messing about with your cycle and not responsible family planning if you're not trying to conceive.

By eventually stopping the pill altogether then it sounds as though you want to be pregnant.

It's only been a couple of weeks since you stopped taking the pill, as you had a withdrawal bleed after the missed one another is not guaranteed. Plus the withdrawal bleed isn't a true cycle, therefore you need to allow your body time to adjust.

If after another few weeks your period hasn't started your gp can prescribe norehisterone which basically restarts your cycle.

So basically general consensus being I am definitely not pregnant?
