Help! Bfp?

Hi ladies, bit of back story.
I tested last night with a FRER at 6dpo (I know I'm unable to control myself) and got a BFN, took the test out of the casing to have a bit more of a look and then put it back in the casing.

This morning, I woke up to a clear second pink line.
I'm confused, did me taking it in and out of the casing cause the control line to leak or could it just have picked up on a small amount of HCG overnight?
I have done another one this morning and it appears to be a BFN (at the moment?)

Anyone had experience with this?

Seems like taking it out of the case may have made the dye run, but I could be wrong! Maybe test again in a couple of days.

I wouldn't be surprised! Oh well, I've learnt from this experience!

This happens when you take the strip out of the test. And I would say that 6DPO is far too early for a positive (unless you've got your ovulation dates wrong) because that is the earliest that implantation can happen.

@NikolaPiccola thank you, I think I just needed someone to talk some sense into me! If someone else had posted this I'd think it was so obvious that it was an invalid result! It's different when it's your own test! I'll wait another 3-4 days and test again :)
